I predicted Tampa in five or six.

Yeah, I’ve been reading the horror stories coming out of Pearson lately.
People being held on planes for 2-3 hours after landing. - Atomic Wedgie
It is because Customs is all backed up. They are completely disorganized so that the traffic arrives in waves.
When we landed at March break, we were half an hour on the plane. Then 90 minutes to walk to, and get through customs. It was totally packed.
By the time we were through customs it was empty. |

They are advising international travellers to arrive three hours before your flight.
Buffalo is two hours away.

Wife and daughter #1 are away.
Daughter #2 has gone to hang out with her friend.
Wife has the car, so I can’t run the errands I need to knock off.
I thought this was going to be glorious, but now I’m just bored. |

Leafs in 5
They beat TB 5-1 Sunday and take any gas they have left. Vasi stands on his head game 5 but Leafs sneak out a close game with an empty net goal to seal the 1st round victory. |

I wouldn't say so, JC outplayed Vasi and I think that was the difference at the end of the day.
I just feel as if the Leafs are more composed right now...and want it more.
If what I have seen so far keeps up I think they take it in 5. |

No need to try and match that 4th line gritty line of TBs.
Just out them with skill and stay out of the box.
I hope Clifford and Simmonds keep sitting for this round at least. |

Likely scenario going forward. Wouldn't be surprised if they got back into game 1 of round 2 if they make it there.

And yeah, it's not like Spezza is some soft, tiny pushover either. He's a big vet, he can handle a little Perry or Maroon in his face after the whistle.
Let's keep the scoring depth in place. |

At March break, I booked a hotel near the airport the night before. We arrived 4 hours early to be safe because they kept warning everyone how busy it would be.
When we arrived, we were not allowed to get into line because we were too early. So they made us wait at the far end of the Terminal at like Area 52. It was surprisingly similar to Area 51, except less people knew what the hell was going on. |

The only problem with that theory is that it won't work. Tampa's 4th line will just run people all day and at the end of the game the penalties will be equal anyway.

So far it looks like the defenses are a wash, the Leafs forwards are deeper. Tampa is more physical and Vasilevski won them game 2.
Very closely matched but from watching, the Leafs are the better team. The only thing that stops them now is if they collapse mentally. |

Jon Cooper, asked about Jack Campbell: "We've scored seven goals on him the last two games. So if he's going to sit here and have a 3.50 goals-against average in every two-game set we'll take that."

Anybody else a little annoyed that the Leafs are playing one of the only teams without a goalie controversy?
Carolina down to their 3rd stringer
Washington is all over the place
Boston has a rookie and an ex-Sabre
Blues going with a rookie over their expensive guy
Penguins down to their 3rd stringer
Edmonton going with a 40 year old
Nashville on their 3rd stringer |

Jon Cooper is a loud mouth and a bit of a Richard. He must really be shaking in his boots spewing away like that. |

Cooper seems to have an overinflated opinion of himself. In front of the cameras he acts like he’s the second coming of Scotty Bowman.
The difference being that Bowman was a humble guy. |
