and that's not what the "debate" is about either, I'm not arguing that guns can shoot and kill on their own... the fact of the matter is if you removed gun laws and let everyone carry weapons all the time as they wish, there are bound to be way more shootings and deaths, it is what it is.

well the numbers don't lie, the link between guns and homicides is pretty clear, I don't think there's any debating about that.

Not because I’m worried they’re gonna break out of it on their own and shoot someone.

It’s to keep them away from someone irresponsible.
