I've been doing a deep dive into the Creemore offerings of late: the amber lager, pale ale, kellerbier, and lot 9 pilsner are all outstanding.👍 - fifty__missions
They are good beers.
I just always seem to get bloated with them. |

Speaking of beer - I was down in Kentucky recently to see a concert (Chris Stapleton, Cheryl Crow and Willy effin' Nelson! it was amazing) and had a couple of these & they were/are delicious.
- Cush29
You lost me at Chris Stapleton.
But then I jumped right back in for Crow and Nelson.

Put Clifford on the 3rd line with Kerfoot and Nylander.
Roll a 4th line of Engvall-Kampf-Simmonds.
Mikheyev and Kase flanking Tavares. - PatC80
And let Spezza rot in the press box? I want to see him in the lineup tonight, I agree one of Simmonds or Clifford will draw in but they collectively just aren't offensive enough to have them both in, unlike Perry who can score.
If Simmonds had found his scoring touch I'd be fine with both but he just hasn't had it this year at all so you end up with 2 guys out there who are pretty much zero threat to score and you can't afford to have that vs Tampa in my opinion.
Spitballing ideas here but.....
Sit Wayne Train, let Spezza and Cliffy play 4th line with Kampf as the 4th line C.
Maybe move Kerfoot to 3rd line Centre with Willy and Kase on either side of him and bump Engvall up to 2nd line with JT and Mik?
I guess the alternative is to "promote" Willy to L2 and move Miky down to L3 but I kinda' like Willy being hidden on L3 as it should give him the abilty to get good looks and start to cash and make it much harder for Tampa to line match.
Guess we will see what Keefe decides in a few hours and then we will all pick it apart. lol

I agree.. I like Nylander on the 3rd line.. Should get better matchups that way.. Just saw that Anderson is taking part in the main group practice. Kase is not practicing..

I said yesterday that might happen so blame me (or Lilli or Keefe). Numbers against Gio/Lilli were awful and Holl might help with the PK

How was the mighty willie live? - Fakepartofme
Stapleton was the best performer of the 3 hands down, maybe the best live performer I've ever seen - that guy is talented as F*$k!
We were with my mom and step dad both of whom didn't really know him and my wife knew one of his songs and 'doesn't like country' - all 3 because instant fans. The 3 of them were all about wanting to see Willie (as I was also) and he didn't disappoint.
Willie turned 89 a few days after the show, and apparently is battling with early onset dementia but man he was awesome. He played for an hour and 5 minutes pretty much straight and he really didn't stop to talk between songs - it was clear he wanted to just rip through his set and get off stage, they drove him to the stage (back of stage) in a golf cart, he walked out and got on a stool and ripped into it.
He played all his classics and never faltered with the words one bit, he did 'speak/sing' through chunks (think Leonard Cohen) which is understandable all things considered and he played his original guitar which they kept zooming in on, holes in it, beat to hell and signed by what looks like 100's of performers.
My wife's late mother's favourite artist was Willie so it meant a lot to her to be able to see him live, the reality is I'm not sure how much longer he will be able to perform but I'm sure glad I got to see him!

The only thing that will help the PK is being out of the box and not letting a PP with Stamkos, Kucherov, Hedman and Point actually get to work. |

Good to hear.
Not a big new country fan (still dig Alabama, Nitty Gritty dirt band, Shania though).
Its always a good sign seeing someone live that you dont know and they are so good, you become a fan. |

Game 1 says hi. But yeah once they get set up in the zone they’re pretty tough. In game 1 Leafs were good at denying entry. Not so much on Wednesday. Holl is an improvement but marginal. |

Saw Willie here at Budweiser stage. It was like a kitchen jam session of favourite songs. Timing wasn’t great but his guitar playing was as fabulous as ever as was his voice. Tedeschi Truck played and they were great. Willie’s kid Lukas who has a wonderful band was supposed to be there but he was doing some event for that Gaga movie he was part of. |
