Fast forward 3 or 4 years from now, the board will be bithin about the fact that Hawks had Kurashev and misused him and got rid of him too early................

Kurashev maybe but Dach likely if they spin him off for a draft pick. Patience is a funny thing. Down for the rebuild but let's trade 21 year olds or just show no patience in waiting for them to pan out...even when there is clearly no rush.

Rockford icehog update

Through period two there is no goals score, 0-0. Texas team has outshot us 27 -15. Mitchell has played both games but Altybarmakian remains out, might be injured. R Shea starter on defense for them; formerly a Blackhawk draft choice whom they elected not to sign out of college.

They also feature ex Blackhawk farmhand A Louis. Petrovic, a veteran NHL dman, and Kero (another ex Blackhawk) also skating for them

I think you mean win series 2-0? Pretty sure the first round in the AHL is only best of 3. Second round best of 5, and then best of 7 the last two rounds.
