I doubt very much this guy will be able to sue the guards based on the fact that he was armed or thought to be armed. Happily he was taken away on a stretcher and probably will spend some time in the slammer. Hopefully his new friends will have some fun with him - winsix
I wasn’t talking about this guy at all. But there are a lot of instances where “roided out security guards working at night clubs think they have the authority to pound the poop out of some dumb drunk.

Unless they are bouncers at the Brunswick House. - Atomic Wedgie
I’ve told the story before about female bouncers at bars in the NWT. In the split second guys would hesitate before taking a swing at them, they would get taken down hard. Those were some of the craziest bars I’ve ever been. Guys would come in from wherever they were working and drink till they were broke and then head back out.
Well...up to a certain age.
Once they reach 12/13, the parents have less influence and kids tend to be more influenced by their friends etc.
Obviously teaching them respect and also practicing what you preach should have a big influence for them. But after a certain age, they do become their own people.
You can only hope the values youve instilled in them or tried to....will also become a part of them - Fakepartofme
You've poetically just said "teenagers suck to raise". In my experience at least.... damn 14 year old girls...

The name eludes me - you might remember it if you went to these places - there was some night club near Queen & Duncan that you entered through an alley. It was somewhat upscale. I was hanging with some guys from work who liked that type of place (I tended to aim towards the $2 / beer and since I was more in the goth scene at the time, didn't much give a rat's ass for the after hours work scene). Anyway, we're in line and the bouncer comes and won't let me in because I'm wearing construction boots. I'm like, "They're police boots, dude," - and he's immediately about to say, "Oh. That's okay, then," you can see it on his face - but one of the guys I as with comes up and starts yelling at the bouncer and the bouncer just says, "Well that's that, then." And walks forward without lifting his arms pushing this guy down the alley and out to the curb.
The bounced guy, who was typically a pretty affable guy, looked stunned and starts laughing, "Holy poop. He didn't even use his arms. I think he beat the poop out of me with his chest!"

About to have two 13 years old in less then 10 days and my youngest is 2 years away. - Fakepartofme
My daughter (step daughter) turned crazy at 15. She’s still crazy at 40. Her dad is nuts and her mom is *looks around room* eccentric. My son never gave us any issues at all.
