Yup. I thought the d looked pretty decent again tonight to be honest. Rielly played well just was mishandling puck a bit. That’s uncommon so he’ll straighten out. Boosh was very physical too and Giordano was solid as usual.

^ agreed. Perry THRIVES on knowing he got under your skin, same as Marchand. You can’t ignore them poking at the goalie etc but you can ignore the bulk of the BS they pull.

Note that Magoon did not even get 2 minutes for the 5 shots he landed on Rielly after he pulled the sweater over his head. Magoon only got a 10 minute misconduct. It worked in game 1. Simmonds skated away (the right to do) from Perry and Maroon. The scrum after shouldn't have happened. It doesn't mean you don't continue to do the right thing.

I have a cousin who got to play with Gretzky… but in LA and not Edmonton… so that helps me choose the Kings over the Oilers as well!

What I don't like is how the only thing we are fed is "Well they won't get picked to officiate the next round and they take pride in that." Except they essentially make poopty decisions leading to players being injured for missed calls or non-calls and letting things get out of hand.

Also I looked it up. I don't think the refs who don't get picked for round 2 are crying after their 25k bonus for round 1 is paid.
