Their blueline is underwhelming. Nurse @ 9.25 million/yr. ouch. - Trox88
This is the problem with paying defenseman this kind of money for this term! Was Hamilton worth it to NJ this year? Is Nurse worth this contract? How about Seth Jones in Chicago? IMO, its stupid to spend this amount of cap space on a defenseman unless that defenseman is a true impact player like Cale Makar, and these are very few and far between. |

Do you think Farabee will be a 60 point + player next season? - hello it's me 2050
He could be depending on 1. his health and 2. the performance of his linemates. |

Fletcher doesnt have a last shot. He is President of Hockey Operations and GM of the Flyers. He is training Briere to take over. This is likely his last season as GM, hell if things dont go well, he might step down sooner - xShoot4WarAmpsx
Agree, I think by next off season Briere will be the GM. |

Raanta injured and had to leave the game. - MJL
Seemed to me he hardly got touched by Pastrnak, it was really puzzling to me that he didn't return to the game. The 22 year old 3rd string goalie played well enough to win, made some nice saves down the stretch when Boston was pressing. |

A healthy Farabee should be able to hit 50-60 points next season

Based on his latest presser, apparently he didn't improve the medical team enough. |

Medical team is not going to make players injury proof........ Some injuries are preventable, Many are not.
The improvement will likely be a response to the reinjuries. Though in Ellis and Hayes case they were not reinjuries. One clearly wasnt fixed and the other was an infection

In the end Carolina IMO is not as good as Colorado, Tampa or Florida, that is what I said exactly! That however doesn't imply in any way that Carolina is not a good team, and clearly they are one of the best defensive teams in the league. So stop trying to throw past posts in my face by taking them out of context! - jd250
No, that's not what you said. You said that Carolina is not good enough to be a contender. You stated that they aren't good enough offensively. Meanwhile last I looked, they were leading the playoffs in goals per game.
