I remember once as a kid, my dad would take me once a year to the Forum with the company season tickets. we took place in what we thought were our seats.
I looked up not far on the left, in the corner, high in the stands, there was a section behind a plexiglass, looked like a VIP section. I told my dad: that must be for journalists or something.
he looked puzzled, not sure. went to talk to the 'placier' with a red jacket in these days to make sure we were in the right seats.
you should have seen the look on my face when we were asked to move and take place in that section! there was maybe 15-20 stools behind a bar, a tv to watch replays, a waiter... aie aie aie. what an evening that was. - fidopro
Dad comes through.
I grew up in Ottawa so we got Montreal games on tv. I went to maybe 3 or 4 games there plus a few concerts. Dylan and the Band I’ll always remember.

ah! so many memories of that place. the metro ride, the walk through Alexis Nihon, the old Forum, the hotdogs, running like crazy when the doors open at 6 to have a good spot (standing only tickets were like 10 or 15$)...
Saw my first show there too at 14 or 15. Queen!
that is also where I laid my hands on Pete Gab. yes yes. lol

first time I saw him I didn't know the set list. I was took by surprise.
6 months later he returned. I was ready, held his hips for a few minutes. - fidopro

I also remember on Halloween one year, my friend and I attended a game at the Forum. don't remember who was playing, but I do remember very clearly that after the game we went to the Café Campus (then near the university). it was midnight sharp when we got in the bar.
what song started playing as we walked in the place?
