I’m glad it wasn’t Kerfoot… I’ve been convinced he’s the leafs most versatile player for some time now.

Some Kadri fans are still devastated about that trade and have a hard time liking Kerfoot.

He's been a bit of a misfit on a lot of the lines: is he top 6? bottom 6? It's one thing to be a savvy vet that's slid down in a lesser role, but Kerfoot's been a bit of a nomad.

Versatile, yes for sure. He's a center over Nylander if my opinion if it came down to it.

Since the leafs have two true top 6 Cs I’m actually happy with the versatile player Kadri got the team.

I like Kadri, it’s not about that, but I think Kerfoot is a better fit for what the leafs need
