I'll be pulling for all that to happen. I think the three things I mentioned are the keys to a Penguin victory. That's what I'll be watching as the series progresses.

My heart is in Pittsburgh but my wallet is on New York.

Absolutely. Pens are the underdogs here and rightfully so. I wouldn't bet against the Rangers in this one.

I see a frustrating series for the Penguins. The Penguins are good enough talent wise, but I think their general lack of finishing plus a good NYR goalie means a lot of low scoring games where it feels like the Penguins deserved a better result.

This is in line with what I'm thinking too...its also the story of the Pens playoffs the past 3 years haha

They have enough finishers, not that they couldn’t use another. I think their lacking of coaching will be the difference in the playoffs. They spoke of their team defence in the last few days so they realize they need to work on that which is good.

Someone mentioned it, win or lose I think Pitt will fair well in the analytics department. They will need to withstand the first 10 minutes.

They need to shoot the (frank)ing puck first and foremost to beat Igor. I hope they keep rust on pk to add some skill there. No stupid plays like lazy drop passes to the other team. CDS needs to bring his A game.

My 3 keys to the game.

I didn’t think the Pens had a good chance WITH Jarry in the lineup. I know DeSmith has been solid, but I think he’s going to get lit up.

Maybe the coach should devise some sort of defensive zone coverage scheme now that the regular season is over.
