Im saying its nothing new to the league. Not saying it is OK either. Just stating the facts that this isnt just a Flyers organization thing. Its a league wide thing
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

Who cares what other teams are also capped out. How is that relevant to the Flyers situation

There were plenty of "hard questions " asked at Chuck Fletcher's post-deadline press conference. There's a segment of the fan base, not saying you, that seems to think anything short of "Why haven't you resigned or been fired yet?" is a softball.

How's this for a question. Chuck, what have you accomplished in your career that would inspire confidence that you are the man to turn this franchise around.

Montreal is in the same boat. They are capped out, They lost Weber to a career ending injury, Price is heading in that direction. Their GM also refused to use the word rebuild.

Vegas is in cap hell and they just gave up a lot to get Eichel and still missed the playoffs. They will have to make big changes in the off season. Eichel has been awful. Maybe it is just rust or maybe the surgery went as Buffalo expected it would.

CHI, DAL, WSH, BOS, WPG, EDM, VAN, LA, NYI are all at or close to the cap ceiling and none of these teams are contenders. The Flyers are not in a unique position.

Eichel is better then any Flyer and all though wasn’t great I would take him in a heart beat…..5 of those teams are in the playoffs…every one of them finished ahead of the Flyers. Montreal struggled but went to a cup finals 8 months ago.
I hope part of the excuse tour tomorrow doesn’t point to other organizations about there struggles and short comings.

I think you don’t have to insult him, but ask a similar question….”why should a fan base have any faith in this team after the last two years? As far as a “aggressive re-tool, is that even possible in the cap era?”

Bundy is really being blunt on Facebook. Its kind of fun watching him totally rip the franchise every few days.

Have the Flyers cleaned house yet? We are on day 3 of the postseason! Teams in the NFL that don't make the playoffs do it the next day. Let's just start with the business side first! Asking for a friend of course!

The @NHLFlyers season ends tonite. As brutal a season from top to bottom as you will ever see any franchise have. From tomorrow morning on, a full rebuild must be a front of the line necessity. Retool not the answer. This fan base deserves far better than this- from every Department in the organization! And also a mascot can never be the face of your franchise!

I love it

It’s more of that, that this team needs. Never have I seen such apathetic, and vanilla coverage of a clearly failing sports team.

He’s turned up the heat on the team since he has left, and many fans absolutely love to see it. It’s not a portion of the fanbase, it’s very much so the majority that see the need for changes.

Change must be demanded.

Checks being finished all over the ice in Carolina. I cant see the Flyers as currently constructed competing with either of these teams physically.

The old school Flyer fan that actually grew up watching the broad street bullies are now against physicality, which is weird to me. Get Zack MacEwen and Rasmus Ristolainen out of here as soon as possible. They are running everything.

Here is the thing. They need everyone to be able to play like that. Risto and MacEwen would be exposed in games like this. Its Farabee, Frost, JVR, Hayes, everyone on the roster. The skill guys are the ones who need to up their physical game. Both giving and getting.

And I am not talking about big hits. Im talking about skating hard, finishing every check, bringing the intensity up a notch....or in this case, ten notches. And playing smart. Unlike what Clifford just did in Toronto.

The Flyers have a lot of work to do.

Risto and MacEwen are here because the Flyers chose to bring in such players as Hayes, JvR, Frost and Farabee.

I guess Bundy isn't going to make the Flyers hall of fame? Bundy for the next GM. He may not be good at it but at least he has a better idea of what direction the team should go in. I never thought I would be this apathetic about the Flyers. I have a feeling this press conference and the off season is just going to piss me off more.

So who do you want to lose, teams that you don’t like or you know of they lose, they will have to make changes.

East

Want Bruins out, just don’t like them
Want leafs to lose so they need to make changes
Pitt to lose, because they’re pitt and want them to suffer and look at rebuilding
Want Florida to win for G

No, Bundy hasn't been cast out of the Alumni Association. He was just at a golf and dinner outing with several Alumni and one of the sponsors a few days ago.

Chris had a falling out with the Flyers organization at the end of his longtime employment. But it is not with the Alumni Association.

Not sure I've ever seen a Flyers alum saying they should clean house, on the business side to boot.

While I agree with Bundy on cleaning house sometimes he comes off as a bitter ex-employee.

I'm pretty sure the Flyers would be whooping the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight. They're playing atrocious. They can't even make basic passes or hit wide open nets with zero pressure.

Speaking of Bundy I just heard an interview with him and Jim McCrossin on the “My Dad Used to Play Hockey” podcast. Whether Jim and Sal got sick from chemical exposure at the practice facility or not the fact that the Flyers or Comcast hasn’t stepped in to pay for his treatment (some of which isn’t covered by his insurance) is disgusting. They’ve setup a go fund me to help with the expenses. It’s sad to me that it has come to that. I hope all the players he’s worked with over the years will step up and take care of him.
