Should I be this excited that the Golden Showers are prob not going to make the Playoffs and I get to watch Jackie Boy talk about the struggles his team has had...
It just feels so right tho... - hehateme
Now we pray to the lottery gods

Radko Gudas, Buffalo Sabres thug defenseman, 18 points, 180 PIMs. It even sounds perfect. - lacaprup
I would not mind getting back Nikita Zadorov either. Big, strong and nasty.

Zadorov and Gubrandson would be a nasty, physically imposing 3rd pair.
They would only cost money too as both are UFA's.
It would take a trade to get Gudas from Florida as he has one year left on his deal. |

McDavid 122 points currently
Sid 120 points in 06-07
Is McDavid better? And, yes, I am assuming he wins multiple cups. |

Without a doubt he is better, by a mile IMO.

Strong. He's damn sure the best player right now. Move over, Barkov, or score another hatty; McDavid has my Hart vote. |

So how many Sabres fans were there. - Buff36
The 1st year the Sabres played vegas very early in the season, before they caught everyone's interest.
I went with a group of keybank employees, probably 125 in the big group.
I'd say around 2,000 sabres fans.
2nd year probably 1000 Sabres fans. |

Offensively sure, but you have to remember Crosby played ina bit more physical era and the goalie equipment wasn't shrunk down like it is now.

Sid is maybe *still* very underrated defensively by casual NHL fans. |

He's the most complete player I have ever seen play the game of hockey. And I use to hate the frankin guy. Ruined my childhood. |

I have always been team OV, but there is not now nor has there been since his rookie season a flaw in Sid's game. He was bad at faceoffs one season. |

This is totally wrong, The NHL changed that rule coming out of the lockout in 2005 (the year Sid was drafted) Goalie pads where shrunk down. Also, Sid played his first 2 years where there was a poop ton of Power plays because the Ref's called EVERYTHNG for the first 2 years out of the lock out. You could not touch another player with a stick or else it would be called obstruction.
McD does not have that luxury in todays NHL. For me he is the best player in the NHL and IMO it is not even close. And to be clear Sid is a freaking great player.

Good post
Possible Underlying factor -
Sid is a crybaby bitxh
A thorn in the Sabres side
Borderline dirty
McDavid- none of the above |
