Again, thanks for clarifying. My opinion would be that if a kid fulfills his initial obligation to the CHL, Euro league, or college, he should sign with the team that drafted him or re-enter the draft. Unrestricted free agency is earned by players over years of work, it shouldn’t be an option to someone who never played in the league. |

Sounds like you like MLB's system. They all have their quirks.

Yeah they do. The probability that the Sabres could lose a “potentially” good goalie and defenseman just blows. And when you’re on the losing side it looks like a loophole. |

I know David Lynch had a deal with Netflix to make a project/series called Unrecorded Night, but that fell through some time ago. If there's something else in the works I do not know about, that would make me a very happy camper.
edit: both he and David Cronenberg had projects in the works get scrapped, and word on the street is they may both see light of day from different studios. Godspeed, Mssrs. Lynch and Cronenberg. - LandlordTom
Both supposed to premiere at Cannes in May |

Yeah, no one here did, you took it upon yourself to use "Boss" as a moniker
As for me, I'm unoriginal, but I'm not going to call myself "Fat Slob Frank" on here just because people call me that |

CHL drafted players who don't sign? Lot of them end up in the ECHL and AHL.

He's in a unique position having gone from a borderline NHL player to at the very least a 2C on almost any team at 24.
As the team I wouldn't want to sign him this offseason. We've seen guys come out of nowhere before only to fade back into semi-obscurity once they get the big deal. - Wetbandit1
Eh. It’s a tough call, but everything in his game has been pretty consistent this season.
If he’d be willing, I’d lock him up in the 5.5-6.5 range this offseason.
I think people are jumping the gun at 8+ even if he has a similar season next year |

I think it depends.
6 mil for a bonafide 2C is good for both sides.
Depends on if Tage or the Sabres believe he’s the 1C of the future
Also depends on term |

He's the 1C of the present. Doesn't he have to negotiate from that position?
