Pretty sure back in the HERO chart days, Schultz actually had a solid hero chart and the consensus was that he was being played as a 1D when he was more in line with a 4-5D that was good in the PP. - j.boyd919

He needs to go to your school of troll lol. But yea there's no (frank)ing way he actually thinks he's good. - 668710
My style is like Brad Marchand. Agitator but extremely efficient production. Gets suspended regularly. |

Yeah I couldn’t find that one. Either way they both say 2nd pair D man with top end offensive production. |

Nah I watched Jack Johnson for three straight years. I don’t need to catch Aves games regularly to know who he is now that he’s even closer to 40. Much better than a Bs fan that apparently occasionally catches Aves games.
Stats don’t measure intangibles. It’s silly to argue that intangibles don’t matter and while there’s plenty of dummy analytics purists like RW and James Tanner, most people who find value in analytics don’t pretend that there isn’t more to evaluate, especially when it comes to properly mixing play styles and skill sets. Saying intangibles don’t matter because they can’t be measured is almost as dumb as thinking analytics are totally invalid because they don’t account for them. Take the numbers, use your brain and put them in the context of the human stuff that happens on the ice to identify potential trends that aren’t immediately obvious that can give you a leg up in team construction.
None of this is really complicated or complex but you’re deadset on dealing in absolutes here and it’s gotten you to the conclusion that Jack Johnson doesn’t suck, so whatever. Be wrong and stupid like the rest of the Mbumhole mouth breathers out there. - Victoro311
You made the point I was trying to make. Wilson and that other moron always use analytics as the end all determining factor.
Nothing else matters. Intangibles, physical play etc. . I never said analytics were useless. I said it doesn’t negate the physical
Side along with the many intangibles.
Which brings me to Johnson . I could care less about JJ but he seemed to be the guy Wilson always used in his analytics prove worth argument. If by watching Johnson you think he sucks fine, but analytics don’t prove he sucks. Obviously there are hockey people that think he is an NHL player |

You definitely picked the wrong player to use as an example for arguing against advanced stats. You should have went with Marcel Goc, Wilson loved him and he kinda sucked ass. |

I feel like Goc didn’t really exist. He was just a figment of our imagination. That last name doesn’t even sound real. |

That was back when analytics to the mainstream was really just Corsi. We didn’t have the tools readily accessible to go much deeper, and Goc had good Corsi. |

Worst dmen in the league! Lol...the previous poster was onto something, the narrative is always we have the worst dmen or the worst contract given to a dmen. I guess the other 31 teams dont make mistakes, just the Pens ...lol |
