Bunch of betas now - NewYorkNuck
Yup.
You only have to look at 3 situations recently, to realize this:
Terry attacking Beagle, then Zegras crying about Terry being beaten up over it
Wahlstrohm bumping tha New Jersey Hughes and he stays on the ice while Wahlstrohm gets attacked by Subban
Gallagher rightly calling out Stutzle for playing dead and laying on the ice whenever he gets bumped.
Bunch of diving, whining prima-donnas. |

Doug and the Slugs
Prism
Honeymoon Suite
Nazareth

Ya saw that excellent lineup I wonder how the vocals have held up?
Doug and the Slugs was a great live band and you'd never guess it. Saw Nazareth ,April Wine, Prism, Streetheart all at the old biker run Windsor hotel in RD back in the day. All excellent but had original lineups. Streetheart won't be the same without Kenny Shields and no Brian McLeod with Headpins. Never saw Lee Aaron, Gilder, Toronto or Honeymoon Suite live however so might have a look. Loved Honeymoon Suite way better than they ever got credit for 3-4 very solid albums.
I took a big pass on the Motley Crue, Def Lep, Poison, Joan Jett cash grab concert. All the vocals except Joan Jett are atrocious. Save your money lol but this big bill looks to be solid.

I won’t be going but it’s sure nice to see live music festivals being booked again. I think it will be a success for the simple fact people are tired of being inside. |

What other Canadian bands could they have added to make it truly epic?
Loverboy?
Chilliwack (I guess Headpins essentially are Chilliwack reincarnated)?
Anvil?
Trooper?
Triumph? |

Lots of chatter on social media from the Leaf blow-heart fans and media suddenly pining for Mathews to win the Hart Trophy. Those (frank)ers make me sick, no wonder everyone hates the Leafs except their own idiots.
Huberdeau, Gaudreau and Jossi - along with McDavid and Draisaitl are just as valuable to their team, if not more so, than Matthews.
I guess at the end of the day it’s good that the NHL has so many good talented young players, (frank) the Leafs anyway. I hope Matthews breaks his leg and their plane crashes killing everyone inside (jk) |

Hansen on paying Miller 8.5 mill per season:
"That's a scary number in so many ways. Then it comes down to length to because does he want 7 or 8 years? No chance, they should have traded him a month ago...You can't waste cap space like the previous management did..." |

Loverboy Trooper and for sure Triumph. There seems to be a big cult demand for a Triumph reunion tour after the recent Crave documentary on the band was released. Very well done check it out on Crave it's called 'Rock and Roll Machine'.
Goes deep into Rik Emmet's odd departure from the band when they were literally peaking it's well done.
Chilliwack again would be a tough go without Brian McLeod (RIP). Would love to see Anvil in there but on that bill their version of rock may not fit with the crowd hard to say and they weren't widely know but a huge cult following. There is another good rock doc. to watch on Anvil as well.
Triumph to headline that would be truly epic. Emmett was classically trained and I saw him live with Oscar Lopez and Pavlo called the 'trifecta' tour about ten years back. Three excellent guitarists acoustic on stage was a real treat. They did Triumph song on three acoustics it was unreal to watch.

Helix - Load Management
Absolutely. Saw Mitchell at the event centre here awhile back and Helix back in the good ol Windsor Hotel days here in the 80s.
Another great band for that festival would be Kick Axe. Super talented and great vocals. An under the radar band for the 80's rock scene but man those guys were good. They were actually much better than Helix live at the time. Great stuff check out 'Vices' and 'Welcome to the Club' by Kick Axe...two absolute Gems bet your daughter would like it too you guys could jam out to some great tracks.
