It is always good when another teams fan think they know what is best for our team.

For a fan base that has cried for more draft picks over the last 8 years and I literally mean cried , it is amusing to see them now turn on a dime and say it is only a third round pick we gave up.

Glad you are happy with the bottom pairing now I would rather have the four mil in cap space instead of 2.5 mil and selected a middle pairing guy that would have more impact.

Last time I checked we have lost 4 of the last 7 and are still 8 points out of a playoff spot but enjoy tonight's victory.

Probably best if we have Jannik Hansen run the organization. He seems ready to run a franchise.

I'm predicting Petey has a dynamite season next year. Won't miss camp. Won't have a fkd up wrist. Won't have the Don's of the fan base poopting all over him. One year older and more mature.
- boonerbuck

When healthy his PPG under Boudreau has been impressive. In for a big year next season.

Can't believe he hasn't been grabbed by another team?

Good win by Dermott and Co

Nice to see some actual production out of the 4th line, unlike the guy we shipped off who hasn't put a point up yet for the Rags

- NewYorkNuck

Different coach/systems/structure can't expect big things his first 10 games Rags are comfortable in the PO's. Look for Motte to shine in PO's like he did in Van's big run a few years back.

It's fun applying the long list of Canuck excuses to other teams.

Like Rutherford said recently, there’s a lot to unravel from the Benning years. Anyone expecting massive changes will probably be disappointed as it’s really difficult to make full-scale changes in one off-season with most teams cap situations tight. Still looking forward to some changes though!!

Trading Miller will be a big first step.

100% - that’ll be a big step (hopefully) in building properly. They HAVE to address the defense.

They also said on the broadcast last night our PK is killing penalties at the best rate it has all season.

I liked Motte a lot, he played his heart out here and was great off the ice.. but I appreciate the new management for not letting guys walk for nothing and/or not overpaying depth players. Pitts did a great job over the years filling out their roster with cheaper, younger guys they brought up from their system. Looking forward to seeing that here.

Me too. If they can shed a contact off of our top 6 this summer I'd consider that a coup.

Yeah I missed a boatload of points this week too. Worth it though to dethrone Northy in the very last week.
