Thanks Carol.
I think this height and weight thing is being blown out of proportion.
The team needs way more skill guys like Hughes and Pouty.
Small/slender is the new-age way of hockey. Hope to see a roster full of smurfs and rakes.
Petan, Pouty, Hoglander, Lockwood, Garland, Highmore.
Hughes and Hunt, these are just players currently on Canucks, that are proof these small/slender guys can make a big difference to a successful team. |

Well if they want to get bigger, they will have to trade their top ranked prospect Rathbone. He's a decent asset still. He may not be top ranked after the draft but currently he is. Maybe they can move up by using him. Big gamble though... |

Not really. They traded Hamonic who was a bit bigger than Dermott... so it evened out almost...not a significant size upgrade. The fall off on physical play was pretty significant though. |

Yep noticeable. As per the previous discussion we do need to get a bit bigger but it's all a mix of what we need. Balance and diversity are key. |

Careful, there’s people on here that think Joe Levi was a better pick than sh!tdisturber Tkachuk. |

Sergachev LHD by many myself included. My 1st option was McAvoy RHD in a trade down. |

Wanted Tkachuk all day. Was shocked they didn't pick him. At the same time Olli wasn't exactly an off the board out of left field pick. He just didn't work out |

Flames could field a team of duds they’ve picked in the draft. I just find it funny that some on here didn’t want Chucky because the Canucks had finally shed asshats Kesler and Burrows. |

The Canucks could go 11-0-2 or 2-11-0 down the stretch, neither would surprise me. I feel like they’ll probably be somewhere in the middle, 5-4-4 or something though. |

Still paying the price from the league and officials but it goes back further to bertuzzi. Most wanted a Dman if I remember right. |

I think taking JV messed up taking Tkachuk while JB was trying to pick different pieces to build the core. Q is if the butterfly effect is better or worse since that 1st draft. |

I was just happy we got a young D man with some size and skill and was projected to be a quality player. Bust instead...Bust. I had nothing against Chuck at he time. Would have been very happy with that pick.
