sure. plenty.

Mason Marchment
Spencer Martin
Nikita Zadorov
Valeri Nichushkin
Ville Husso
Filip Forsberg
Vincent Trocheck
Vladislav Namestnikov
Rickard Rakell
Nino Niederreiter
Nick Bjugstad
Nazem Kadri

Trade JTM for picks n prospects.
Sign n trade Brock
Trade Myers
Replace them cheaper with Kadri, Rakell and Zadorov.

But realistically, i hope we sign Spencer Martin and Marchment.

Reasonably cheap adds…
Marchment
Martin
Paul
Ruuta

Kane if say 3/6m

Trade Boeser
Resign Miller 5/8.25m

Dump Dlcky & Poolman somehow

You think Kadri will be cheap

- VANTEL

Nicolas Roy would be an easy trade or offer sheet. Vegas with major cap problems. A 2.0 to 4.1M offer sheet a 2nd round pick in 2023. Not ideal to give up a 2nd in that draft so maybe some younger more ready bodies that they can insert for cheap.

You think Kadri is going to sign for more than JT Miller will

Players that will probably get 5M plus on their next contracts.
- manvanfan

Yeah, the question from NH wasn't about who we could afford.
I think Nino might be 5m + as well.

I think Kane on a 1 year pro-rated show me contract is savvy.
But i wouldn't be keen to sign him for more than that atm.

I’d want 2yrs but think another offer could be longer.

He is 2 years older and almost identical in points . It is not going to be a cheap contract . He is not going anywhere for less than 4 x 6.5 at the least . Miller will be 5 to 6 years at 7.5 . So if you think the 1 mil is the big savings I guess you are right then.

I can't see Nino getting 5 plus. It would be like signing Pearson to 5 plus.

I'd like Reilly Smith on a Pearson type contract.

I did & thought a typo since you are talking about 2 different years & all of a sudden VGK cap problems are ignored in 2022. It made zero sense.

Try rethinking what you post.

I don't need to think out what I post except for when you chose to reply.

You literally said Canucks don't have their 2nd. In 2023 as I said which would be the year the offer sheet would be compensated in, they do. Miracle that was not that hard to figure out.

The other option would be a trade. Van sends them cheap bodies. I could care less what kind of trash Van sends them. Van's job isn't to help them out, it's to take advantage.

I think it would be nice to get Roy but lots of other teams will be looking for these types deals also . I don't think Canucks will offer sheet Vegas.

I think Canucks will keep Miller for most of the next year . He is a bargain at 1C and will be cheaper than Kadri or any other top center next year. I don't think teams are going to give up multiple top prospects for him . If Canucks can not sign him to a deal they will move him at TDL to get back their first and third .

There is not a lot of cap room next year so I see Lammikko coming back and pretty much the same as this year . Maybe some small adds and maybe one significant one but we will see. I think the big question is what do you do with Brock.

I would say half the league would take a go at him for a 2nd round pick offer sheet. Up to the player to sign the deal. Canucks desperately need a better PK right shot center.

Canucks need a lot of things . They should gut half the team and try again. To me I think they should put in an all year effort to go after Bedard , just like what the Leafs did with Matthews. Do what the Habs did this year. Go for a top 3 pick next year .

I should say I would not be disappointed if they tried for Beddard next year but realistically I do not think they will.

I don't share your thinking on gutting the team. They just need the right players. Not more of Benning just randoms, that never fit together. Rutherford did a real good job of finding players for Crosby and Malkin.
