The players hate it too. He's right though the rules implemented in UEFA (europe) have really curbed it. Guys like that get laughed off the pitch and would definitely get a fine and probably a suspension.

I much prefer womens soccer. They play more like "men" then the vast majority of men do.

Probably could have if they had a goalie. I was at the Winter Classic, sitting on the blue line in the Leafs end. Score was 2-2 and boom goal from the corner, game over.

I would agree with you on Derek Trucks. I saw Trucks play at the Crossroads festival in 2007. Had to pay a scalper for the tickets which were nearly impossible to get. Johnny Winter played well but too frail to stand up. Derek Trucks and his wife played a set with Johnny - awesome.
