Teams blow their loads over defensive forwards. I don't think the Sabres have a motivation to trade him unless a player of, let's say Iorio or better is being sent back. Personally I think they could do a bit better than that.

I'm all for trading one of the later 1st round picks in a deal for an impact forward or defenseman, but not the Sabres pick, as there are at least 6 quality players at the top of this draft (Wright, Cooley, Savoie, Nemec, Slafkovsky, Jiricek).

I'd like to keep one of the later 1sts to draft an RHD if the Sabres go with a forward for their own 1st.

We've talked about player like Keller, Fiala, PLD from Winnipeg, and others as far as impact player targets.

Agreed with all of this. We need some more size, snarl and skill, what better way than to draft a guy with all three. Still won't be unhappy with Nemec though, him and Dahlin could be a very, very interesting pairing one day.
