All true. If you don't have a great QB you don't have a QB so you have to pay up for him. Mahomes now faces Wilson, Herbert and probably Carr twice a year. Allen plays NE, NY and MIA and whomever they throw out there. Good trade for Buffalo and our #1 see aspitations.

Their division made it where they had to start looking soon either way. If they're 3rd or 4th for the next few years with or without Russ, given the value they got, it was a good time to pull the trigger on the rebuild. What else do you do? Wait 2-3 years for those contracts to stack up on the Rams and hope 36yo Russ still has it?
