i think he's ready to don the 'c'...i'm also pretty sure that he's well aware that there's a possibility that he'll go through another rough season...

that said, upl will be in goal next year, who the other one is up in the air, and they'll need to add two defensemen (at least) and at least a couple of forwards as well...where they come from and who they are will give us a pretty good indication as to where the team is headed

I love the guy but if the Sabres don't make the playoffs by the end of his current contract, it's difficult to imaging him re-signing here.

I’m not sure why people on here think we are trading for all these players. It’s what I’ve been saying, they aren’t rushing anything. They are going to continue to draft until they seem like they are ready to be a consistent playoff team. They are nowhere near that. 2024 off-season is then they will make a move

Idk, Sabres started well, Knight was really good tonight. Sabres could’ve easily had the lead after one. FL steamrolled them in the second, as they’ve done to many teams this year. They put 9 up on TB. I think that’s the tenth game scoring 6 since Jan 1. poop happens, it’s only one game.
