I’m not sure why people on here think we are trading for all these players. It’s what I’ve been saying, they aren’t rushing anything. They are going to continue to draft until they seem like they are ready to be a consistent playoff team. They are nowhere near that. 2024 off-season is then they will make a move

Knight’s first game in nhl since start of February. He looked great tonight, but still is a rookie.
Bob has been really good this year. Probably at least one more year before they start thinking about moving Bob’s contract. Plus he has full no trade clause right now

They haven't done poop in a decade. Why rush?

To be a consistent playoff team, they need to make the playoffs just once. Hell, they need to be playing meaningful games in March first.

Good to know the plan is to not care or try for the next two seasons after this one.

If they pull that, they might not need to even unlock the doors to the arena anymore. Better to just keep the doors closed and play in front of nobody.
