I don't think Risto is a top pairing guy but I do believe is a solid top 4 defender. I think he has been fine, not perfect, with the Flyers this year, and I honestly think he could be used a lot more on offense than he is.

Several players will not be traded and could sit a game on a rotation. It is really irritating how low a priority the player development of Frost really is to a team who has been out of the hunt for quite some time and says they like and need his skill set. As far as the earn it line, I don’t agree because you need good opportunities to earn it. AHL linemates and our third pair defensemen…yep, go get ‘em. However, Frost just sat the first game of the rotation. So it is not asking of others what he hasn’t done. Team player. Maybe that will earn him another couple games.

I agree it does, because this team has been working their tails off for the past several weeks and though some will not see it, this team is playing much better the past month than at any point in this season or even last season.
