I'm sure everyone else has complained as well but it's absolutely insane that frost is a healthy scratch. The ineptitude of this organization to properly develop talent is very concerning

That's right, because before today you have never seen Risto win a board battle, right? What a stupid argument! Just admit it, you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to Risto and evaluating his impact to the team. But when you see how many teams want him at the deadline, maybe you will open your eyes and realize it then.

I have posted plenty of times already that I don't want the Flyers to resign Risto and want them to trade him at the deadline. Its not because I think he is not a good player or not worth the money, but simply because I don't expect the Flyers to be a playoff team this year or next year, so its not a fit.
- jd250

I’ve seen risto his whole career. He’s a decent 3rd pair dman with sheltered minutes. Once used above that 12-13 minutes a night he gets exposed. I’d love him at around 2-3 million in that roll. Unfortunately teams still try to use him more because of the physical aspect. And those teams pay the price. There’s a reason he’s only losing teams. He’s part of the problem not part of the solution. Hopefully some other teams still believe he’s good enough to waste assets.

So now that we know this is your opinion, if the Flyers add a veteran player or a top free agent in the future, can we expect you to post that the player is not a fit?

Flyers: We don’t have enough high end offensive talent

Also Flyers: Our top offensive prospect isn’t a grinder so he rides the pine.

Well yea but my version is first we have to make him into a grinder and he has to prove he can play like a grinder and earn playing time with better players in better situations.

Why do you continue to embarrass yourself like this?
- MJL

The only thing that is embarrassing here is people like you who come on here day after day and spew your hate for everything that is Flyers, from the owners, to the management, to the coaches to several of the players. You need to seriously consider what you truly care more about, the Flyers coming back to contention or Fletcher failing, because obviously one does not lead to the other.

Not a cliche. It's called reality there snowflake. Nothing is given....it has to be earned!! Thanks again!

- Phillywhiteout

There you go again. Slightly repetitive, so the cliche supply seems limited. We’ll wait on some originality. Don’t worry. We are patient.

So in your opinion, if only Risto was truly a better player the Flyers would have been a much better team this year?? And the Sabres would have been a playoff team because they got rid of Risto?

Really? In your opinion that is why Frost is riding the pine, because he is not a grinder?

Loved that Risto shot on the PP. Blocked by TVR but it was a strong shot. Something PP has been lacking
