Calm down tiger. 80% of the time he doesn’t get to the puck. The trade off is yes sometimes he is effective. Most time he isn’t.

At the end of the day you CANT pay a player like that the money he’s gonna get.

That's right, because before today you have never seen Risto win a board battle, right? What a stupid argument! Just admit it, you don't know what you are talking about when it comes to Risto and evaluating his impact to the team. But when you see how many teams want him at the deadline, maybe you will open your eyes and realize it then.

I have nightmares about this very thing. I think somewhere deep inside they think it can happen.

I have posted plenty of times already that I don't want the Flyers to resign Risto and want them to trade him at the deadline. Its not because I think he is not a good player or not worth the money, but simply because I don't expect the Flyers to be a playoff team this year or next year, so its not a fit.

LMAO, yes because one isolated play, and it was a very good play is what matters. Rather than then the whole of the players play over a large sample of games. He also had another strong shift in the period where he was up and aggressive offensively. It's a shame, he has ability but rarely shows it. He just doesn't have the drive or hockey sense.
