Did you see the last rush by Winnipeg breaking out? Forwards back deep. Short quick passes and puck support. Puck support is teammates close to the puck carrier. 3 quick passed and they generate speed right into the Flyers zone. When do you see that from the Flyers?

That's coaching. All top teams play that way. How do you defend that? Flyers predictably send the puck up the wall. Refuse to use the middle of the ice. Same thing on D zone draws. Same strong side play every game.

These games are great no backskating or checking 🥳🤪

The issue is the Flyers breakout scheme and has been all season. The gap between the defense and the forwards is too large. The forwards are out in the neutral zone and there is no forward deep. The Flyers schemes on breakouts. D zone draws, regroups, all suck.

Wasn't skating a knock on Ratcliffe? I don't see that. His skating is fine.

Why? Nothing to be gained by starting to win games. Half these guys wont be here next year. We need skill and need to be in top 3 or 4 in draft. Empty meaningless wins

I know some folks don't like Risto or want him resigned, but damn it's fun watching him light guys up shift after shift!! Very good game by him tonight! That Ratcliffe guy looks pretty good. I expected to see a big lumbering skater, but he gets around pretty good....much better than Hayes. Only played 7 minutes, so not getting excited, but glad to see that he doesn't skate like a slug. Risto by the numbers.....He was a +2 with 6 hits in 21 minutes of ice time. Tom Brady retired today and one Philly media clown said that he can't beat Nick Foles. WTF!! Good ole territorial Philly media.

Yea, same here. I want to see my favorite team play competitive games and hope to see some of the younger players grow and improve. I hate the idea of tanking.

That was a high effort team win! Complete with the insurance goal. Terrific night for Hart. Nice way to take a good game into the break.

this is what pisses me off, they couldve played like that all year, but didnt. Why?
Leadership? Coaching ? Coaching shouldnt reflect effort imo. They are paid well, effort should always be there

I thought he was skating well in pre-season also. If he wasn't skate well at some point, he has certainly improved.
