I don't get the love for Yakipov I mean Lafreniere - VANTEL
Lafreniere with Horvat would be a killer line. |

Not the Canucks problem, but the Rangers are already fairly cap-strapped for next season. - Reubenkincade
lol yeah, thought of that after, maybe they add a cap dump - that would b a big trade. If miller going to get what people are saying, i think we have to do it. Or extend him now and see. |

I would personally like to keep Miller, under different circumstances, but this team has been in the habit of holding onto players for way too long.
I would prefer to move on from Boeser, Petterson and Hoglander up front. |

No it wouldn't .
Lafreniere has a .330 PPG on the high scoring Rangers. Bo is not a playmaker. Not many players come to Vancouver to turn around their career when they are struggling. Maybe Highmore and Lammikko?
Rutherford has on of the worst three records in drafting in the last decade so I don't see how the 27 th pick is going to change that. His partner in that record of bad drafting is our new GM who has never ran a draft and will probably be JR's yes man this draft.
I think if you are moving top players like Miller and Garland who has an excellent contract you make damn sure it is for a boatload and not a bunch of maybe's

A boatload of what? |

A boatload of what? - Reubenkincade
Girard and Newhook (Col )
Liljegren Robertson Amirov (Tor)
Schneider K'Andre Miller (NYR)
Tkachuk (Cgy)
I am not in a hurry to trade Miller and definitely not Garland. I would also move Boeser first but doubt Canucks feel the same.

Ask big or don't bother.
For years I have heard about Benning get bent over and rear ended on trades by the fans and now I read the fans saying take a player like Lafreniere and a 27 th OA and run .
Talk about getting bent over .
How about we keep our best players and build around them and concentrate on signing them instead of offering a guy who has 9 goals 7.3 mil per. |

The likelihood of a player making an impact between a late 1st and a late 2nd isn't HUGE (it is different, mind you), so would rather have a better prospect than a better pick. - NewYorkNuck

If the Canucks are trading J.T. Miller it has to be for a quality young dman as well as a 1st & 2nd round pick. Organization needs to start building a defence.
At this point K’Andre Miller is no better than Lafreniere but I’d take KAM 100 times out of 100. Defence matters baby!! |
