It might be. I'm certainly not going to get worked up because they're INTERVIEWING people.
If we had, say, Tua at QB, I'd worry 😂 - Powerslave

Bill's have also asked the Raiders permission to interview Edgar Bennett for the OC job. |

Was more in terms of who we target this offseason and line composition. |

It's not a knock on Cozens. He could be the better of the two, but right now it looks like Krebs has a much higher ceiling offensively.
Mitts has had very little success in the NHL.
Tage's play has improved significantly this year. I think it's very debatable how much of that has to do with moving to C. Physically, we're watching a different player now than last year. I think we'd see that at RW as well. - Lunaion
All that is true and valid, but who would you shift out for curiosity's sake? Or just throw Mitts with Girgs/Okposo and call it a day? |

I see he was the OC for the Packers for a few years. |

McD is 4/5 on the playoffs. He would have to outright miss the dance for there to even be a chance, and even then I think it would be remote. They would have to be like 6-11 without Allen missing a game |

McD is looking bad after the 13 seconds and now telling the media he was the one that was calling the D at the end there. No excuse as to why they blew that game.
Not sure why you would put your trust back into him.
I see it as you either get to the big game this year or you're done.
Both he and Frazier should be booted after the suspect play calling all year when not playing a bottom 10 team. |

Andy Reid lost 3 straight NFC Championship games, and then a Super Bowl in Philadelphia before going to Kansas City a few years later. It took him finally losing Alex Smith and drafting Patrick Mahomes to now go .500 in both AFC Championship games and the Super Bowl. Now he's the "best coach in the NFL" to some. I'm not saying McDermott needs to be Teflon, but winning is hard. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick diluted a lot of people's perspectives.
The only way McDermott should be fired is if you absolutely know someone in the mold of Mike Tomlin, Sean Payton, Andy Reid, etc. is going to sign here. In other words, you better have tampered and not get caught. |

I just don't see ownership pulling the rip cord unless there's a chernobyl-level meltdown in the regular season |

Modern day Jim Plunkett
all the hype, taken first overall
Plunkett bounced around with a few teams and then won his first super bowl with the raiders at age 33
Stafford is 33 years old - navinrjohnson
Stafford has been a top 10 caliber QB his entire career.
The second he leaves a terrible franchise and goes to a team that doesn’t have a terrible defence, non-existent run game, and an offensive coordinator that can tie his own shoes he goes to a SB.
Jack Eichel has a higher ceiling, but same merry go round of bad coaching staffs, failed GM’s, and terrible supporting casts. |

Stafford like Eichel both can say their previous franchises did them no favors.
Stafford averaged 273 yards per game playing in Detroit which in a 16 game season is 4,374 yards. He has a 5000 yard passing season in Detroit. His lowest non injured season he threw for 3777 yards. You can say he had to throw a lot because his teams were losing more often than not, but the fact remains, none of his Lions teams had a running threat so other teams knew he had to pass to beat them, and he still was able to put up some pretty incredible numbers.
His record is 16 games under .500 in Detroit which in 12 years is pretty damn incredible if you ask me.
He is for his career a top 15 QB and in some seasons a top 10 or even higher.
If the Bills had him instead of Kyle Orton or EJ Manuel in 2014 the streak would have been broken then!

Agreed, I just wouldn’t say he’s been great his whole career.
Certainly good to very good for most
IMO comparatively Eichel is the greater talent but the comparison is fine |
