In either Draisaitl's case or McDavid's I think the Sabres would have the ammo to go get one, if it comes to that for the Oilers.

Kane will tear that locker room apart.

One of them eventually is getting traded

This year is a fascinating one for the Oil with both players not having an NTC til the new league year. This is the chance to sell extremely high

If they traded Drai, though, that could also drive McDavid to despondency. If they traded McD, they could get a 5-piece mcnugget of premium pieces and give Drai the reins at 1C

This.

Everyone has their eyes on McDerp and him asking out, but they could move German-Gretzky for almost as much and still have McDerp.

I suggested Draisaitl might have surpassed McDerp this year and got very quickly shot-down, but the proof is in the pudding. Draisaitl is built like Ovechkin and plays like Lindros. He's who we should be targeting.

Dahlin, Cozens and the three 2022 firsts for McJesus could be a win for both sides. It sounds crazy but I think both teams could win that trade

We were a lottery ball and a drunk GM away from having both of them in the first place

Totally spitballing but I'd guess the highest 2 firsts, one of Cozens/Dahlin and Samuelsson or Peterka

Two separate parleys going, one almost done:

1. KC -7.5, Kelce anytime TD, Hill anytime TD, Mahomes 350+ pays +2314.

2. Kelce anytime TD, KC -7, LA Rams -3.5 pays +480.

How about Mittelstadt, Olofsson, Jokiharju and those three 1sts for Draisaitl?

We have multiple playoff teams if McDavid were a Sabre.

That's a strong offer. I think they'd want Dahlin though

Wonder we could sneak in Mitts instead of Cozens.

I’d move Tage if it meant keeping Cozens.

Real question is are they willing to move Driasital for a package that could turn them around? Any GM has to exhaust all options before that happens, even if he does ask IMO.
- washedup20

Why we keep our picks right now. Get our team geared up to make that trade in 1-2 years for that top guy (opposite Eichel trade).

Then they need to take less than 3 firsts and Cozens in addition to him.

If they're getting Dahlin for McDavid, they are not getting THREE first rounders, and a prospect, too.

Dahlin, Olofsson, Skinner, two 1sts. As high as I go.

Draisaitl scored 110 points and was a -7, how is that possible? And you guys think Dahlin is bad at the defense

That ain't happening. Skinner is a non starter. They need cap relief as much as they need quality, young pieces

I'm for that, 3 this year though, I don't see them having that many next season so wonder how it would work but I'm down.
