Having defensive issues, turnovers and going pointless is a bad game (I’m still think the third period)

Well Hell sorta froze over today locally...now another 10+ game winless streak.
IMO a bench of the 10 the best coaches of all time could not do much better with this group.
Anyone get hurt today? I was busy shovelling snow instead of watching XXXX.

Nice to finally get a win, despite the fact that the Flyers blew a 3rd period lead again. Watching Ratcliffe make some heavy hits was fun to see, too.

Thoughts from today’s game…

Congrats to Yandle on his all-time record Iron Man streak! Good on the Flyers for the recognition pregame of this remarkable individual achievement of any NHL player. This was most definitely the right way to do it. The current struggles are shared by the whole team, but it is right to recognize this amazing streak.

I liked Lindblom on the top line; they had great looks.
The big, heavy 4th line looked good too.
I would like to see Willman with Laughton. Maybe Willman-Laughton-TK and JVR-Frost-Mayhew.
The defense pairings are rough. I really wish they would stick to trying Provy-Sanheim. It is worth the investment even if it takes a few games. Maybe they have extra practices coming up.
Wish they had gotten the insurance empty net goal and saved themselves the stress and drama of OT, but a big WIN nonetheless.
