I wonder what the atmosphere is like in that dressing room, I'm sure it's even more miserable than a (frank)ing funeral.
- Pat1993

Bet there are 15+ guys who want out of that room ASAP, probably even some of the AHLers want to go back to Laval.

This is not a team that is trying or caring.

definitely looks like a team who would rather forfeit the remaining games for this season. would be better for everyone if they could.
- Pat1993

It's the getting knocked around effortlessly and the constant "give up a goal immediately after they score a goal" that is so painful to see. And for some reason part of me keeps thinking they have to be better then this with some of the guys on that team.... yet this far into they really are the worst in the league. As fido said, blow it up. Whether we want to be bad the next few years or not, we're going to be.

ideally they would just send down a bunch of guys to play with the Rocket (like Caufield and Primeau for example) so they can stay as far away as possible from this mess, but they don't even have the personnel to do that, it's really sad.

This has aged about as well as expected
- Habsolute009

The feeling aged well. I added a gin tonic and a microbrewery beer. Now I'm feeling great and don't even care about the game!

yeah, things for this team took a very quick and drastic turn for the worse once the playoffs were over, not saying they'll turn it around as quickly but I'm not expecting them to be this miserable for years and years to come (I refuse to entertain that possibility lol). safe to say it wouldn't be too difficult to have some significant improvements compared to what's going on right now...

none. I just like watching over and over again that Petry reaction after the goalie hit. priceless.
get that (frank)er out of town. the sooner the better.

he just looks dead inside. at this point benching him would almost be better in terms of preserving whatever little trade value he has left.

When I hear Guillaume Latendresse complaining about Habs players not standing for Montambault being hit by Kassian, it makes me vomit…

There is an extract of the Ottawa Citizen:

« Guillaume Latendresse received some post-game criticism following the Senators Game 2 loss when he didn’t drop the gloves to fight Canadiens fourth-line pest Ryan White. »

Benching him is a stupid idea if you want to trade him…

That guy wants out.

I know dude, it wasn't meant to be taken literally either.

but normally a guy who wants out would try to play well enough to get the attention of other teams, and right now his performances are saying "nah, you don't need my services, besides I'd rather stay here in this big pile of poop".

I have a hard time imagining that his talent and defensive abilities have completely vanished all of a sudden. me thinks he's going through some major confidence issues.

of course it's between the ears. but his reaction tonight... that's almost criminal. if I was a Habs player, I'd fight him, not Cassian. lol
trade him right (frank)in now.

I think he is just a passenger type of player…

You put him on a second pair and he can contribute…

He is just a soft character player.

I have never been a fan…

he should get on the Player Assistance program, or hire a personal sports psychologist, whatever would help him get through this thing. he sure isn't showing any signs of getting back to his former self any time soon.

meh, he managed to do a very good job while Weber was out, when he's focused he's a very smart and reliable player.
