Hmmm...where I think we can agree is that they've had a marketing/messaging problem since the start and it's only got worse over time
Edit: also on the right to protest and to each their own stuff. I'm not a mandate person...just wanted to highlight the marketing/messaging part - Takemedrunkimhome
I'm not a mandate person either, but what can I do about it?
Make some noise and be labeled a crazy racist antivaxxer?
That's what it's turned into when you disagree these days..

Polite discourse and nuance get lost in the world of tweets. Nobody wants to listen, just wait for their turn to talk AT you. It's become uncomfortable because the more polar the opinions get the less likely anybody is willing to find or even look for common ground. Everything needs to be a fight and something to win. All opinions that are different need to be mocked rather than explored. (Yes, some opinions need to be mocked, ruthlessly)
I also agree on the labeling part. It's easier to label somebody with a different opinion than to engage them in polite discourse.

Agreed, I think people being tired and exasperated is making discussions a lot more difficult these days.. |

Ok fine.
My opinion is I really don't give a (frank), if you wanna get the shot, get the shot, if you don't then don't.
You wanna protest about your beliefs, go right ahead, for or against, I really don't care. Now if you're gonna go to the protest, and go home with new pair of sneakers and a tv, I have a problem with that.
I'm not going to try to push my beliefs on anyone, because it's a personal health choice and quite frankly none of my (frank)ing business what anyone decides to do.
Everyone has an opinion about it and there's no right or wrong here, it's your body you decide.
I got the shots so I could travel, not because I'm scared to get it. Will I get a third shot to travel, I dunno yet.
One of my boys got the shots, the other one won't, again it's none of my business.
Protect the vulnerable, long term care homes, etc. which for whatever reason these (frank)heads can't seem to do.
Personally I wish they'd stop calling it a disease and a vaccine, when it's a flu and a flu shot. And it's not going away, they'll be different strains every year or so. We're gonna have to learn to live with it, like BC, AB, SK, and ON, have finally admitted. - pete26
Agreed but like Pat, I can't name it a flu, simply because some people get "long covid", or long-term symptoms, something that doesn't happen with flu. I have good friends who refuse the vax and I'm fine with it. When I say antivax, I talk about the conspiracy people. Those are annoying and spray false information and don't help at all.

that, and the sheer number of hospitalizations and deaths make it pretty clear that it isn't just a simple flu. you also have to wonder if every specialist/doctor/epidemiologist/virologist saying these are 2 completely different things are all lying.

I have plenty of friends in rabbit holes (surprise, surprise), and again if you think Tom Hanks and Madonna are dead and Biden eats small children, that's cool. How's the fishing been at the lake?..

Pretty much...there are other topics out there. Just because I agree with somebody on a political topic doesn't mean I want to drink a beer with them and vice versa |

Cayden is not ready for the NHL yet. (even if the Habs where better) Goalie by an large develop slower so he needs some seasoning in my eyes. It would be better to go out and get a guy who is experienced and can take the losing without destroying his career. Or well leave him in there and see what happen it probably will not help anyone
