I wouldn't be surprised to see a mini bidding war for Motte, he'd be a good depth add for a playoff team - Nucker101
I hope so. |

LeBrun on Insider Trading on #Canucks/J.T. Miller:
If a team steps up with 3-4 prospects, 3-4 assets, it's something they probably got to look at.
Is their best deal before this deadline for J.T. Miller or is it in the offseason at the draft when he has a year left? |

TDL seems when GMs make the biggest mistakes. |

I could see Boston and Colorado making strong runs for Miller. |

Like Bloated said, GM's are more desperate and/or more mistake prone at the TDL. |

I think if Canucks want to do something drastic like moving Miller they may want to look at a one year tank for Beddard or the young Russian. They have had plenty of experience at losing so what is one more year. Next year seems like the draft is like the year of Matthews.
Moving Miller will leave them with Petey and Bo as centers so they could desperately use one.

Yes, draft is way worse for trading players, that's when everyone wants picks |

Yeah, they have lots of youth and a stacked roster. Good combo to take advantage of.
I also like some of the California teams depth. If Anaheim or LA feel they will make the playoffs they might want to add a player like Miller that would help immediately and fit into their young core nicely.
Minnesota would also make a nice trading partner. |

Holy crap, I would be happy if they trade a couple, but sure, no problem if they trade them all. |

B’s don’t have enough to offer. Av’s & Rags can easily out bid them. |

My ideal situation is that we play .500 hockey, miss the playoffs, and win a top 3 pick. |

NYN posted a pretty interesting proposal this morning. A bit of tweaking and you could make it work.
I guess it depends on if they retool or rebuild. |
