Apple Music is flat out better than Spotify when it comes to sound quality. They’re also about the same price.
- Dozzer

Serious question:

Who has better 80s music?

I like Spotify, but Apple already controls our household.

After reading this article, the situation in Arizona doesn't sound bad:

https://gophnx.com/2022/0...s-interim-arena-solution/

It sounds franking hopeless.

I don't know if I can hear the difference, I don't care enough to switch ecosystems now.

Meh Holl is slow too… and Mayfield is a top pairing guy currently but he’s a pretty low key defender with 44 PIM so far this year and that’s about it lol
- Dozzer

Apple is better all around imo. They have more songs as well. From what I’ve read it’s kind of based on what you like listening to… music is Apple and podcasts is Spotify for instance

I think I’ve noticed simply because I play digital music through my old Mini PA so it’s a full range of sound

Mine definitely are… I’ve had non stop tinnitus since I was about 20 due to all the live music I played without hearing protection of any kind

So forgive me for being very stupid on this subject (and others), but are there songs that I would want that would be on one service but not another?

I'm not kidding when I say that I stopped listening to new music after September 1991 - the day CJCL 1430 Toronto went to an all-sport format.

Spotify seems to have pretty-much everything I look for.

Safe to assume Apple Music would have the same?

Of course he knew it which makes the victimization of Rogan hilarious. I’m the victim. I have to to another service to get access to the music I want and now I lose all my exquisite playlists.
- Canada Cup

If Rogan was forced or dropped from the service as a result of Young's request, he would be a victim as well his listener-base.

I suspect Neil Young actually wanted off of Spotify (he's been at odds with them before) and he thought he'd fire a shot off the bow of Spotify's biggest (and most controversial) tenant upon his exit. I'm sure Joe was really sweating bullets there.

In principle, Young's ultimatum is an attempt at some egregious censorship bs. Glad Spotify didn't cave to the cancel demand, dumped Young's catalog (per his request), and continued to support Rogan. We can, of course, argue whether they would have done so with a lesser act. 🤷

What's actually hilarious is how much frothing at the mouth Rogan has unintentionally inspired from his detractors. But hey, this is the ideological puritanical world we live in now: we must destroy / minimize those who dissent from our manifesto. 👌

Yeah finding songs on either app is pretty easy… as I said Apple is a bit better sounding and Spotify is more general.

I’m not against either or but I do prefer Apple.

But if you want what’s best for the artists….Bandcamp is the way to go
(this has nothing to do with flutes)

But has some limitations and not as convenient as the others

Guess it depends on if you are listening to big rock stars or helping struggling artists

Bandcamp 10% cut
Spotify 0.00331-0.00437 per stream
Apple 0.01 per stream

I was an indie musician for about 20 years (30 years total as a player) until the epilepsy started making stage lighting bother me a little more than 3 years ago which made me give it up… so yes I always support my friends indie recordings by purchasing their stuff online
