Maybe but that was on Varly. He wasn’t ready to make a save. I don’t know if he thought he was just going to go around the net or what, but he has to make that save. Great shot, but still.

To me, it seemed like he gave up on the play. Clock winding down, thought he was going to pass or go around the net. Whatever, he just wasn’t ready to make a save.

Agree, similar to an OT goal in the POs. I’m watching at a restaurant on my phone so it’s tough to watch honestly. No comantary just tying to see the puck with these old man eyes!

Along the boards three feet south of the faceoff dot is an angle every NHL goaltender should have covered. Of course none if this matters if they can't score
