He is the 16th highest scoring Center in the league. How much of a discount are you really expecting?
I get what you're saying. But, expecting the guy to give up MILLIONS is just naive.

No what Im saying is we need that added ‘dump’ year of 1m salary to drop the AAV. If he gets… 7,7,7,6,5,4 that comes out to 6x6, if we tack on 1 more year at 1m salary, it brings it down to 5.28m AAV which would be immensely helpful.

Id give him NMC for 4 or 5 years and then a m-NTC for the last 2 years, 10 teams.
