I much prefer the cold and don't mind to 20's.
Two weeks ago we visited my daughter who now lives outside Portsmouth NH. It was 20 here and 10 there, which was still doable. Then we took a trip to the White Mountains. -2 before the ample wind chill. We were outside for 10 minutes and it was (frank)ing cold!

One of the highlights of mid-week pick up hockey is hanging out in the parking lot after. All through the winter, no matter the weather. It only starts to suck when your beer freezes faster than you can drink it.

Played pond hockey in UP Michigan a few Winters ago. We left our yuengling on the balcony of the hotel and it got to -5 or Lowe over night. Cracked a beer in the morning and it flash froze as soon as I opened it

It happens due to the drop in pressure. Same would happen when I left water bottles in my car in not as cold temps. Crack it open and it turns to slush or sometimes a rock. Sometimes it just needed a swirl and it would immediately freeze up.

it's honestly a great time. then kids and coaching got in the way so i haven't been able to go up with the group i was. plus the jersey you get if you win is awesome
