How bout asking Fletcher players being injured their first game returning. It happens over and over and over again. Does the medical staff need to be evaluated. Just status quo. Ridiculous.
- PLindbergh31

I actually think this is a great and warranted question, I hope someone asks it. I don't think Fletcher would dodge it.

Tell me which forward prospect in the Flyers' system has shown that he belongs in the top 6 on this team? I would have liked to see Foerster earn a call up this year, but he got hurt and is just now starting to skate again. I would have liked to see Allison get a full NHL season with the Flyers, but he has been hurt this entire season and I honestly don't feel he will ever be able to stay healthy. I would love to see Frost be our 1C and give us hope for the future, but his development has been much slower than we hoped; let's hope he can build on last night's game. Who else? What other young forward do we have in our system that you think can step into the top 6 right now? Name them?

That is a funny question to respond to a post that says we don't have enough information to make these decisions. You can taunt all you want but until we decide to see what we have no one really knows, either you or me. You can be negative all day long but you are just guessing. I would like some data points. BTW, Frost was on the wrong line all of the night. If he is with TK and Lindblom, we would have had more opportunties.

LOL, no they're not playing better overall. Between players you say are having great games to this, I don't know what team you're watching. Claude Giroux played well last night? Konecny? Atkinson? The Sanhiem/Ristolainen pairing was bad. Oh I know, McEwen had a great game!
- MJL

Last night I thought Risto, Cam, Frost, MacEwen had good games and the team overall played with more energy and were competitive against a very good and heavy Dallas team. Again, the problem is they can't finish, so that's on the Flyers best players like G, JVR and TK.

Ristolainen was absolutely awful along with Sanheim. The pairing was bad. Tell me what Ristolainen was doing on the game winning goal? He should've had a chair, a beer and some popcorn because he was a spectator. McEwen was not good and neither was Atkinson. Frost played well but he is on the wrong line.

How about questioning the organization's method of team building handed down from on high from Dave Scott, who clearly doesn't know a thing about hockey?

Was hiring a GM with an Action Bias a mistake?

Should Clarke and Holmgren still be allowed anywhere near anyone making any kind of hockey decisions, even if in an advisory role?

Since the GM that was hired for its action bias has failed so miserably, how can that same GM be trusted to make the right decisions moving forward, including the upcoming trade deadline?

Is the ownership apparatus taking a close hard look at how its hockey department does things, or are they listening to the same old voices in their ear from over 40 years ago?

- StepfordSam

All good points but they seem more like ad hominems than legitimate questions.

I'm not trying to taunt you, I am seriously asking the question and want to talk about this. What forwards in the Flyers' system are ready to come up and be impact players? I think Frost has been given the opportunity but he clearly needed to develop his game for the NHL before he was given a much higher level of responsibility. If he keeps up what he showed last night, I am sure you will see him move up in the lineup. But my point is, there are not any other options in the Flyers' system right now because of injuries and also lack of prospects.

Anything short of a complete and total, top to bottom housecleaning will just lead to more failure. The organization is broken.

Besides Zamula, who should be playing on the flyers, who do they have that should be up prospect wise?

Sandstrum is the only one. Jones needs to be moved asap. There is a deal to be made with Saint Ronnie on that front.

I was shocked to see both of them pinch on the play that lead to the breakaway. Not a great turnover by TK but having both d-men pinch is not a very NHL play by a pair of defensemen.

Your continued bashing against a 4th liner who is constantly one of the hardest working players night in & night out goes to show how clueless you are. How was he not good? He filled up a stat sheet in the 7 minutes of ice time he got. He is a good 4th liner

Even further cluelessness, Maybe Frost played well because he is playing with the right guys because when playing with other guys he sure looked invisible at times. Hands down they were the best trio last night

Maybe Frost is the reverse Provy where he plays well when surrounded by lesser talent while provy only plays well when paired w Niskanen

Risto was covering the Dallas player in the left slot. Tell me what Sanheim was doing given that the play was on his side of the slot? Also tell me where Sanheim was when TK turned the puck over on the first goal?? The only problem I had with the 2nd Dallas goal is the Flyers had Willman, Mayhew and Cates out there as the forward line that late in a tied game, not very smart coaching there!

Sandin, Zamula, Honigberg, Sushko, and Ratcliffe have all been playing. Bring Lycksell back from Sweden (where he is playing quite well) or at least try. This narrative is wrong. We have the kids and should give them a chance. It worked with the Kiddie Corps.

I know, its sad! MacEwen busts his butt out there every single shift! I wonder if CC and other top players on this team tried as hard as MacEwen if the Flyers would be losing 12 in a row?

Would like to hear Bills opinion on those you mention in terms of any NHL future.

Zamula only one for me who has an Future in the NHL. Though not opposed to Hogberg getting a look as why not.

If they just tried as half as hard this team would be a playoff team
