Knox is actually the ONE play-maker we have on offense other than Josh. But he has cinder blocks for hands. He drops all of the routine catches and catches all of the 15% catches.

We need an every down TE.

And as far as Diggs is concerned... He gets shut down a little too much in big games.

What we need is a Christian McCaffery in the backfield, or a Mike Gesicki... I would seriously trade Edmunds for Gesicki straight-up.

Gesicki is a UFA...

Everyone is beyond upset you finally will get yoir wish of khalil mack

I'm all for it, but that move should have been made back in October. If they did, I might be talking about driving up for the AFC Championship game this weekend. Instead I have to listen to stupid Bengals fans act like they have a chance in hell of winning.

Knox has fantastic hands. His only problem is that he has a brain cramps and sometimes drops the easy ones. He improved on that this year. I love Gesicki but I don't know if the money is best spent there as we have a potential all-pro at the position.

Yeah that’s virtually impossible with our cap situation unless that’s the only move they plan on making all offseason
- sbroads24

Or, OR, they let Star, Hughes, Beasley, Sanders and all of the Panthers rejects go and still Mack is better than all of them combined? And we can afford him?

I’m firmly in the camp of drafting a goalie every year. They take a while to develop, and the more internal competition the better.

I have faith that ol' stonehands will grow. He took a massive step this year and I expect him to take another step next year. Guys like Gesicki are looking for TE1 duties. With Knox and Sweeney, I don't see them spending any real assets on a third guy. Keep a look out for a future or UDFA contract. Maybe a FA bozo to challenge Sweeney.

I love Knox. But he seems like a red zone guy. Sweeny I can do without. Regardless, I think we need another TE, especially for blocking.

One thing I was thinking of yesterday after someone posted the Bills vs. Chiefs YAC stat was actually making me lose sleep:

As soon as a Chiefs receiver catches the ball, he has multiple teammates converging on him who can then engage in a block. Which they do phenomenally. The Bills are the complete opposite. A Bills player catches the ball, and the entire receiving corps turns around and watches him. They don't EVER block in the run game, either, or they just plain suck at it but our receivers need to be more physical at the LOS.

Some players who dropped more passes than Knox this season:

Chase, K.Allen, Kelce, Diggs, T.Hill, Waddle….

The FOUR drops Knox had this season are hardly a big deal

FIFY

He's approaching JJ Watt territory, aging and injured; he's 30 already, 31 in less than a month.

He's hardly a long term solution

Chase had 128 with 11 drops. Hill, Waddle, and Allen had 9 drops each while doubling Knox's targets. Kelce had 134 and 7 drops.

I’m fine with this.

Lock down McKenzie.

Let Beasley and Star go.

Diggs
Davis
McKenzie
Sanders can come back or better.

Start the off-season there.

I’d still like Flores or Fangio. But mcD is protecting Leslie, so he’s here to stay.

Dorsey promoted if/when Daboll goes to the Giants
