Are you putting the Pittsburgh loss on the defense too?
- lacaprup

I'll give you that one and in return I'll offer up the Colts game. Im not saying the offense didnt have it's lion share of bad games cause obviously they did (Pit, Jags) but this defense under Frazier has problems, the D got to feast on alot of very bad offenses this season. In games against good offenses like Ten, KC playoffs(not the first game obviously but that KC team wasn't themselves at the time), Colts, Bucs they gave up over 33 each game.

Who do the Chiefs have on defense to help out Mahommes?
- washedup20

Remember beginning of the season when their D was bad and everyone thought the Chiefs were sunk? Chris Jones and Frank Clark are better than anyone we have in the front 7 by a mile, plus they went out and added help on D trading for Melvin Ingram.

They finished first overall in D so it might be a bit of a stretch to say that they have problems. I think when we got run over it was because we were weak at interior line and then it exposed Edmunds.

no one and most mock drafts I see have the chiefs taking more offense.

This team has the greatest football player on the planet now, this is where Buffalo chokes themselves vs press their boot down harder.

Is Knox good enough?

Is Diggs good enough?

Gave Davis is now this teams #1 wr threat, why?

Allen is so great, great players will want to join this team. Beane better lock his door and keep Terry two times at Covid distance.

call Devantae Adams or JuJu's agent and just say "Josh Allen"

Secondary is great for sure, I'm not saying to blow it up it's all bad, but against top notch teams the D got torched.

JuJu would be a great Beasley/Sanders replacement

But he’s gonna cost more than a typical #2/3

Ok so cause Josh we'll just ignore any deficiencies of the defense, makes sense. We went 2-5 against teams that made the playoffs this year. Our schedule next year looks like it might to be tougher than this year.
- zdp1189

You CAN actually do both. This pissing contest of what side of the ball to upgrade is hysterical without seeing who they'll cut, sign and draft for.

They don't have a ton of cap room right now, but there are always cuts, restructures, etc. and we are a destination again for players (maybe a top 3 destination again).

There are a lot of smart minds down at 1 Bills Dr.

Calvin Ridley could be a potential buy low guy.

Also to this, they were I think 6-1 last year against playoff teams so just a weird coincidence IMO.

I just have more faith in the Offense being great going forward than I do the defense.

Anyone else think it’s possible (not likely) that they move on from Diggs after next year?

He’s awesome, but Allen just had the game of his life with him being a non-factor

He’s got a year left I believe.

i sure as hell hope not.

KC blanketed and doubled Diggs all night leaving everyone else free.

Bring in another legit weapon so they cant do that.

That’s my theory.

Davis is here long term. They could very well draft a round 1 WR.

Do they want to pay a 29 year old Diggs top 5-10 money?

Again I love Diggs and think he’s great

I basically agree w you.

I think we're maybe one true speedster and a couple O-line away on O (I think, unless they're a special player, RBs are a dime a dozen if your line is doing its job).

D has some questions:

LB (they going w Edmunds again? I'm not sold on this guy)

CB (Tre should be back, yes? Wallace was good this year, but I wouldn't mind an upgrade)

D line (Crazy depth this year. Might not be able to afford that again. Rousseau will be better, but do we have a true stud there?).

Demanding that much attention from defenses makes him a big factor, even when he's not getting the ball. I think you're a bit harsh calling him a non-factor.

- ImThatGuy

Or, perhaps, you need average (at least) but just as important, a defense (and special teams) to step up at the right time. Regardless of era, stepping up when absolutely necessary was a key to greatness

And some coaching decisions that help you to step up in those times.

Need a replacement for Sanders sure. JuJu would be a great fit.
Need a replacement for the writer of this article as he’s about as bad as it gets. “Choke job” doesn’t belong to any part of this team. He’s been so bad with words and ideas of articles it’s like nails on a chalkboard.
Need a CB for sure albeit 1st round or Free agency as Wallace is a FA and will require a considerable raise.
Frazier led the top defense but the play calling at the end shows you why he won’t be a HC again. It’s also on Sean too as he needs to step in there and have the defense play more aggressive than they did those last 13 seconds. Agreed Fangio or Flores or just keep Frazier is the way to go.
DT is another high priority for this team. This is our weakest point. Any physical running attack killed us this year and there is no answer right now on this team.
