Edgar Martinez retired in 2004. Didn't get in till 2019.

Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens both better than Ortiz by orders of magnitude

Curt Schilling, not a cheater. Best postseason pitcher since Bob Gibson.

The minority of baseball writers (we have to remember MOST voters get this right) who conduct this farce every year should lose their vote.

These three no-brainer HoFers are all way better HoF cases than Ortiz, who just got a 1st ballot HoF. In the case of Edgar Martinez the greatest designated hitter of all time had to wait for 11 ballots.

Blah, blah, blah

I didn’t say Ortiz should get in on the first ballot,
DID I ???

Martinez is a special case because he didn't play the field. Agree with it or not, a real good argument could be made that someone that didn't play the field shouldn't be in the HOF.

I think with Schilling his post-baseball life has gotten in the way, which it shouldn't.

Then can’t u make the same argument for Pitchers who rarely bat??

Beady, Pegs in the middle worried what his father in-law will say, Fitz on the left just trying to do what’s needed to fit in.

Jaguars are hiring Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich as their next head coach. SB Nation’s Demetrius Harvey confirmed the report shortly after.

Dominos! If true….

Would you trade either Florida or Vegas 22’ 1st this year to Philly for Konency?

4 years left at 5.5

One can hope! If there is still an opening, there is still hope…. As long as flores or fangio are out there to fill his shoes.

Best hope might be the Giants bc of their new GM coming from the Bills
I think Dabol could turn that job down
It’s a pretty bad situation unless someone thinks Daniel Jones is a true franchise Qb

broncos, vikings and raiders should be the 3 spots he would be targeting but none of the openings have a great qb

Browns to receive compensatory second and third round picks after Vikings hired away their Vice President of Football Operations Kwesi Adofo-Mensah.

Oh. Not a bad thought. I am just promoting Dorsey is Daboll leaves.

I had Daboll penciled in with the giants. I never considered him passing on it….

Just a little more hope…

every opening has an unknown at qb other then the vikings and raiders and they could both turn the page from their qb's

could be an interesting off season for qb's

Sure I could. I don't think it is the same thing at all.
