Unlike a lot of these kids, he has some growing to do. The skill and determination are remarkable. We've run out of patience, and for good reason. He just turned 21. Today. Cozens 20, Jack 20, JJ and Levi 20, Dahlin and Samuelsson 21, Power 19.. it's just so gd young.

There is nothing in the rule books that states a goalie can throw an illegal check and Interfere with an unsuspecting player chasing a Dman around the net, that results in an injury. It was a careless gutless play by a player that should not be playing in the NHL but more like a Beer League.

Correct, however it does say a goalie can stand their ground after playing the puck. It falls on the forward to go around the goalie. Being that Dell didn't step out on him and contact was made, how is this an illegal check or interference is what I'm asking.

Who cares, I see players throw a pick 5-10 times a game and never a penalty. There wasn't even a suspension when Lucic laid out Miller.

Its a 2 minute penalty and move on.

Pain.

Based on those other two names, it would be criminal to not start him. The competition he's facing is probably on par with the world juniors. Skill is obviously less, but a lot of vets are generally smarter and more refined.

If anyone wants to tell me when he makes a shuffle out into the lane, that can be discussed. I've watched it a dozen times, he turns around a bit and prepares for the hit. He's on his natural path back to the net. He doesn't step out at the last minute, his feet are planted.
