I put no blame on Meatball, his calmness is what’s needed for this organizations long term plan. It looks like he still has the trust of the fans and players, saying what he said about individual players confidence is a very Krueger-like move.
I think the long term plan will require too much current sacrifice which resets the cycle all over again. Planning to lose this season and the next is what I’m against and their only counter to this is if you don’t want to be here you’re gone. - washedup20
I have always been against tanking or planning to lose. But I doubt having 269 man game lost to injury was a part of any plan. That effects the growth of any team especially a young team that is constantly playing with new lineups or linemates.
I hate tanking, it sucks the life out of everything. But what is Granato supposed to say. - Buff36
that...i have nothing against meatballs as he's doing an exceptional job of developing their skills...the first 15 minutes of last night's game was a perfect example of their skill-level being on display
--ryan o'reilly- forced his way out
--sam reinhart- subtly forced his way out
--taylor hall- came and went
--jack eichel- aggressively forced his way out
and rasmus dahlin shuns a long-term deal for a bridge that puts him in control should he want out
but...something, something...words - Michael Pachla

what about blowing 2 goal leads like the red wing game?

Why hasn't management/ownership looked into this? The medical/equipment staff here is questionable at best.
What are the comps to other teams in the past decade?

The biggest indictment of the franchise is they are equally adapt at losing even when they are trying to be a winning team. - kingcong39
Having an actual direction and young talent is more promising to me than whatever the (frank) they did in 14. Long way to go regardless, but at least this approach has longevity and promise.
Again, long way to go, and a lot of important decisions to make going forward.

It is better then whatever the hell that was supposed to be last season.

you can make a case that we would have a worse record if not for those games lost due to injury
I mean you would have drake playing instead of krebs

Our defense is soft. Bryson, Joker and Butcher get bullied. We consistently allow strong play in front of our net. And I'm completely leaving out the ineptitude of our goalies.
knowing how to, and the desire to do it are more important traits...
generally the best teams have great fourth lines/defenders who aren't the most skilled players, but they do know what to do and how to do it - Michael Pachla
