Do you think he should be fired?
#1 defense this year but epic, unbridled collapse against KC. I'm torn but also 99% sure his job is completely safe - Hank Balling

I think if Allen's prime is wasted, it will be by the front office more than the coaching staff. They brought back everybody in order to make another run this year, and it fell short. They won't be able to do that this year. There will be some tough decisions to make, and they could easily be the wrong ones.
Or maybe the Sabres' summer of 2007 is still just lingering somewhere in the pit of my stomach. - buffalofan19
I think Star and Hughes kept better players off the field this year.
So did Beasley and Sanders.
We let those four go, we have instant upgrades in Rousseau, Phillips, Basham on D and Gabe (frank)ing Davis on offense.
I stand by my statement that Allen/Mahomes is the new Manning/Brady rivalry.
Diggs is our Harrison, and Davis emerged as Wayne.
If Singletary can take that next step, like he did second half of the season, I am all for keeping him.
We need to upgrade our LB, DB and OL. |

First let’s admire this throw a few more times
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfUhoYoXWe0
But, why the hell is it 2 minutes left in the 3rd before they tried a play like this?!? Matthieu got kicked in the head and out of game on the first damm play of the game, never pressed that hole left in their D. Romo mentioned it earlier in the game and again during this highlight clip.
The shortcomings of D performance/strategy have been well mentioned, but seems like OC and HC deserve blame for their game plan. It’s like they envisioned “Parcell-ing” KC by keeping the ball out of Mahomes’ hands. They played away from their strengths. The couple quick three and outs only put more stress on the D that already had all it could handle. |

Thanks. Been a long time since I red Slaughterhouse Five or anything by him. Might be time to revisit.

There is no justice in this world if Flores doesn't get a HC job.
Since there IS no justice in this world he probably won't. |

Davis wasn't even past the safety yet when he let that fly. If you look at Knox, he's wide azz open for a 25yd gain. A good QB takes that throw, an elite QB does what Josh did, that was an amazing throw |

yup...but in lieu of that, since i'm not sure that's gonna happen, upgrade the defense starting with edmunds...if you can find a team to trade for him...the ideal situation would be for frazier to get a head coaching job and lobby the gm to trade for edmunds |

YAC ranks this year.
KC - 1st
Buffalo - 30th.
The Bills need better playmakers on offense.
Imagine this team with a tyreek hill type speed guy
It’s unstoppable. |

Could not agree more with the bold.
They didn't play enough to their own strengths, being too worried and scared of KC.
Too many plays early with Allen under center, which has been their weakest offense all season.
When they got out of that, the Bills almost scored at will.
Don't just believe you have the best team, coach and call plays like it all damn game. |

Literally the entire country is in love with Josh Allen. I meet Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Minnesota fans, fans of almost every team tell me how much they like him.
This has put the NFL’s overtime rules in the spotlight. Hardcore and casual fans alike agree that was quite possibly the greatest game in NFL history, and all of them saying the same thing, not that the OT is unfair, but that we were robbed of a truly epic finish because of the OT.
Hopefully this is the final push to change the OT rules but regardless, the entire country is gushing over our QB and mad they didn’t get to see more of him. |

Who wouldn't want a Hill?
Mahomes also had a very low Avg length of throw with high YAC, compared to Josh who had much longer throws but little YAC.
I'm no coach nor strategist, yet it seems that it was a very different strategy employed; where KC "took what the opposing D gave them" , while the Bill's were pushing throws deeper into tighter coverage and to the sidelines with YAC limited |
