Don’t make fun of Italians please - mr.sir
This shouldn't have made me laugh. Especially, considering I'm married to the mob an Italian. |

I'm pretty lukewarm on Joe's music, he's a talented gentleman but it's not really my bag
Man I can watch videos of him talk about vintage gear all day long though - TheMussel
Joe is about as excellent technically in the area of blues guitar as it gets these days. As with many great blues guitarists, his writing skills are not really strong. He can play to a level about the same as Stevie Ray Vaughan IMO. He was a virtuoso guitar player at age 12 - his teacher was a player named Danny Gatton.

Indeed. It's the new blues rock thing that I find a tad generic. Definitely not knocking his technique, he can play with the best of em.
Watching an awkward 15 year old Bonamassa shred in a club is always fun to watch though. |

Awkward!? Let me tell you about awkward. Awkward is reading anything about Eric Clapton these days.

Lol
I lived with one of those greaseball Benitos for eight years, I will totally make fun of them. What's IROC stand for? Italian rejects out cruising. FIAT? Fix it again Tony. Oh yeah gelato is bullpoop, ice cream is better. |

Its laughable, what a moron. - Fakepartofme
Moron - No.
Misguided - probably, senile or suffering from dementia - also possible, wouldn't be too surprising with his drug use history. Bad reaction to vaccine, also possible, wouldn't be a unique situation. Pissed off that he can't tour in his last few years that he physically can - for sure.

You know what's depressing? Seeing the Leafs, who have seemingly improved their performance from last season, sitting in potentially a worse spot despite being a better team.
If the Leafs face BOS, FLA, or TBL and lose in the first round, should Dubas lose his job? Should the Leafs blow up the Core 4 and pivot hard in another direction?
The situation is absurd and, granted, we are only roughly half way through the season but I'm not feeling confident about this team's chance to get past the first round, let alone make a deep run.
I guess the TDL will give us some better idea of where this team potentially sits but I remain, as ever, cautiously pessimistic and no amount of Mass Formation Psychosis will change that. |

Two things from last night's Bills game.
1. Hill was taunting the players even before he got into the end zone. I think that should be a penalty. If a player can't even look at a sideline and get a flag I dont see why this is allowed.
2. I think its a raw deal that in OT in the NFL playoffs, both teams are not guaranteed an offensive possession. Chiefs won on a coin toss.
Don't see why Goodell or the Bills are okay Allen didnt see the field in OT. |

I just hope Dubas feels he has repaid whatever debt he thought he owed Clifford. Man is Clifford slow, I mean Chara moves like Makar compared to Clifford. - winsix
It seems apparent by now that Cliff will in no way help us in the big picture.. |

I love Spezza this season but he hasn’t looked good lately with and with our Clifford. Last game was better so maybe just a lull. Campbell didn’t have anything to do with Soezz’s play. - Canada Cup
I'll bet the line will get back up to speed if they keep the giraffe down there for a stretch. |

The situation is dope jonesie. The absolute best way to grow is elite competition. Let's say the Leafs face the two-time defending Champs in the first round - arguably one of the best teams in the cap era, and one of the best teams period. That's a glorious opportunity. You couldn't ask for anything better.
Last year the Leafs had the easiest first round opponent and an easier path to the Final. That was a curse. This Atlantic division this year is perfect to forge a champion. The obstacle is the way.

Very, very intrigued to see how having Willy, AM and Marner spread across three lines. The potential is giving me a semi chub-on. |

I disagree. I would rather have a sweetheart matchup in the 1st round that the team can build on while two behemoths slug it out in round 1 and exhaust themselves. |

It didn't work out great last year. Gotta beat the best. As soon as you start preferring a weaker opponent, you are weakening yourself. |

I seem to recall suggesting Claude Giroux as a potential great fit a few threads back:
https://twitter.com/faken...84-11ec-a3a1-bd12323a6240
Elliotte Friedman reported in 32 Thoughts that couple sources have told him that the Maple Leafs have made an offer for Claude Giroux.
