I don't think that is happening, I see Yandle playing out the season as long as he can play. Do you really want to expose another young player like Zamula to this dumpster fire right now? I think its better for Zamula to continue to develop this year on the Phantoms and start fresh next season.

You could be right but I hope you’re wrong. They can “expose” Connauton for all I care. I just can’t stand watching Yandle play anymore. I understand why he is in there and it doesn’t matter now anyway. But earlier in the season I felt playing him sent the wrong message. That some things are more important than fielding your best players to have the best chance to win. But that’s way way down the list of what’s wrong with this team.

Chuckles must go. New blood at the top from a winning organization (Tampa, Pens, Blues, or Canes, or someone from Zito's new team in Fla). Flair has to decide between pro-wrestling and Flyers. Let new management figure out which talent to keep/drop/draft.

But the reality will be: CF = pres. hockey ops; a former Flyer as GM (Briere a likely candidate); and a new, double-secret bias for action that Clarke, Barber and other other dinosaurs approve.

No guarantees on anything. This draft is not very strong so the closer to the top the better your odds. Heck there are HOF players who were never drafted

Getting a little tired of the nostalgia for Ed Snider on this board. Team plateaud/declined since 1987 and his role in that goes largely unnoticed here. Under his ownership and dedication to "Flyers Hockey," this team traded away Peter Forsberg, Rod B, J Williams, Jeff C and Bob. 4 of those 5 are HOFers who won a lot of SCs and Bob may get there yet. And, he sold the team to a corporate group whose attitude about this team is one step away from "IDGAF." Yes, he did some great things but let's be a little more even in how we look at his ownership and legacy.

Yes I agree, I was thinking more our prospects like Frost, York, Zamula, Ratcliff, Foerster and O'Brien. We found out with Hart and York that they could handle the NHL and positively contribute only because we gave them a chance to play in the NHL. Hopefully Frost will get his act together, and we need to see what these other kids can do.

Between this crap and Bobby Clarke taking a public dump on some of them, what is it like to be a prospect in this organization? BTW, everyone who expects O'Brien and Cates to sign their agreements needs to realize that the CBA would allow them to walk if they stay 4 years in college. Could anyone really blame them for choosing to launch their careers somewhere else?

Yes I agree, I was thinking more our prospects like Frost, York, Zamula, Ratcliff, Foerster and O'Brien. Keith Yandle is barely an AHL player at this point, let alone an NHL one. (frank) him and his bs record.
