Where's the salami? It's a sure bet Jonesy will have his fingers crossed tomorrow night hoping for another loss so his 98-99 team becomes another forgotten footnote in history.
- Bendecko

Of we’re dressing seeler as a forward then we might as well forfeit the game tomorrow.

Listen to Jonesy. His team was in first place & went through a loosing streak & canceled any fun. This trash heap is in last place & you can rest assured CC isn’t doing any of that

How can you have any of these people still in charge? Two years In a row of embarrassing hockey. There is no fixing this. It has to be torn down, every wall, every screw, a new foundation is needed.
- ClaudeFather

It's almost unimaginable how epically bad this is...In basically 1 calendar year, a little more than 1 full season of games played, this "team" has 3 10+ game winless streaks. They had their worst month in franchise history in March, and are now poised to set a new record with a loss tomorrow....it's inexcusable that anyone in the management/development/coaching staff remain employed with this level of incompetence.

I'm sure this made more sense in that teensy-weensy little head of yours than it does on screen.

The thing is, HE IS STILL YOUNG. But god damn the dude is making it hard to be patient.

I mean, that's clown show for him to trip like that. Not that it matters of course, they suck and all and game to game doesn't matter anymore. But jeeze that was bad. Along with his whiff on the Radulov pass.

- FloHaake

Not blocking the Radulov pass was far more of an issue.

Whose turn is it to drop the old "trending in the right direction" quote this time? It's a real building block game, they only got their asses kicked a little.

We shouldn’t be complaining about the losses or suprised. The focus should be on the effort (which was decent tonight minus CC) & getting the kids TOI

It was Ristolainen's turn the last time but he's dumber than a turnip. Not sure who's next. It's time for a "we're in this together".

Pretty cool watching the bad news bears on skates tonight. Typical of what losing teams do. First you have Cates(not an NHL player) getting snookered by Radulov, and then on the empty netter you have Sanheim toe pick on the blue line while Konecny makes one of his lazy hap hazard plays to finish things off. Elliot Friedman reporting that Caaaaater Haaaaat could be on the trading block. Can't make this stuff up.

Friedman also said concerning Clarke's comments. One NHL exec stated that Patrick should be apologized to for involving him in a controversy that he doesn't need as he is trying to get his career going.

I bet you Comcast is more interested in the profit or loss for that timeframe and win loss is a distance second at best.

As sad as it may be, it might be bonus time for all we know.

Ristolainen and McEwen are having great games. So they're the 1st and 2nd stars of the game. Who's the 3rd?
- MJL

I agree with many of your assessments about this horrid team, but MacEwen 's 8-9 minutes are the least of our current problems. I am not talking about the overall plan (or lack thereof) by Fletcher, etc, but just that we realistically don't have many options right now. Who do you see as a viable replacement for MacEwen right now?

Clarke never did put much stock in having a good goalie.

If you mean NAK, yes, I absolutely agree that we should've kept him as I was a fan. My question was what other options do we have right now to take Macewen's spot?

None and i don’t blame Macewan. He puts the effort in. This is all on management imo.

Agreed on both points! MacEwen puts in the effort and does what he has to do despite his limitations. At least he tries as opposed to most of the other quitters on this team who show no emotion, hustle etc. Management is to blame for this mess and I don't see the point when some posters (not you) continually focus their frustration on 4th liners who play 8 minutes a game.

Every consecutive loss they will strip another letter. Once they are all gone, he’s toast.
- funmaster18

Would you allow them to be stripped out of order, so that near the end we're left with nothing but a "Yo"?

Any young player who they feel is NHL ready. They should've never waived Aube-Kubel. By the way, the context of the reply was that a poster stated that McEwen was having a great game last night.

Not for nothing, but on the Dallas go ahead goal the Flyers had Cates, Willman and Mayhew out there as a forward line .... WHAT???
- jd250

announcers were talking about shortening the bench at the 8 minute mark, then said "maybe it is to early". I guess the 2 minute mark was to early also. Team is clueless and YEO is clueless.

Maybe if you would come around the thread more and follow the conversations. You would see that the frustration is not focused on McEwen
