healthy people getting the vaccine is in itself a way of protecting those who are more vulnerable, since you're less likely to get sick or contaminate others when you're vaccinated. but yeah, I agree a lot of dumb decisions have been taken... the way things were managed was/is far from perfect, to say the least.

yes, I'm aware of this Pete, and that doesn't mean the vaccine is useless, as a matter fact there would be a poop ton more people in ICUs if no one was getting vaccinated... also, in the case of more contagious variants such as omicron, even if the vaccine protected you at 70% instead of 95% for example, 70% is still a whole lot better than (frank)ing zero%, so it's still worth the shot, pun intended...

I feel this conversation is getting nowhere though, let's talk about the habs and the impact of having the French language as a hiring criteria.

it's hard to imagine a bigger contrast between what they did in the playoffs last year and the current season, it's like it didn't make any sense. not necessarily easy to digest as a fan lol... normally the optobus would still be up and running during the regular season, even if they aren't making a second attempt at a cup run, but considering how things are going right now it would be silly to even bring it up. hopefully next year will bring better circumstances to take it out of the garage.
