Despite the dip in temps I'm still probably having some vanilla ice cream for dessert tonight. Publix premium French vanilla (MMMM™).

the -25°F temperatures made me completely forget that ice cream is still actually a thing. now I'm kinda craving the ben & jerry Half Baked.

Both Brady and Rodgers are done!

I haven't felt this good about football since February 4, 2018!

It's the custard that puts it on top. My second favourite after Dulce de Leche (don't tell Pat that the butter pecan doesn't even come after that!)

Make a run for south of the border! It's not too far a drive from Waterbury (like what, just over 2 hrs?). My cousin lives across the street from the factory. She's a doctor though, so she can't put you up because of the pandemic, and she's also expecting this spring. But you can go there and be back home in half a day anyway.

I'm sure it would be better if i poured some butter pecan syrup on top (it has some butter taste but not enough). But it's OK. Chocolate Trinity would slot between it and the vanilla, with rum raisin after it. Real low on the list is the maple walnut. Walnuts are too big (and I've never been a fan of their taste, they should be candied and softened like pralines) but unlike the butter flavour of the butter pecan, I can't taste the maple at all. So the only way to make it good is to also pour maple syrup on it (after fishing out the walnuts). I guess some of their limited edition flavours and the varieties that are repackaged Denali varieties (https://moosetracks.com/) would be somewhere above the maple walnut... sorry, but it's really Publix's fault, cause I would like it more if they improved it.

I don't recall seeing Moose Tracks here, which is a bit ironic considering I live in Canada lol

I'd be afraid though to come across this guy lol

he's Tristan Bavaria, a Quebecer who is adamantly against the vaccine, and moved to Florida, trying to convince other Quebecers to leave the "dictatorship" we're currently living in and move to the states. if you see him, punch him in the face really hard for me, he's a (frank)ing lunatic.

jk lol...

although I have the impression that there are a lot more products and stores that you have in 'Murica that can't be found here... the Wawa situation alone is tragically heartbreaking.

Why is he a lunatic pat?

Because he’s against getting a shot(s) to prevent getting the flu, even though you can still catch the flu with the shot(s)?

he literally believes Legault is trying to implement the 4th Reich, among other things lol... it isn't just because of his stance on vaccination, he's completely psychotic.

but to be honest, I'm not sure if you're being serious or not but I do find being "against" the vaccine is kinda dumb, you can question it's efficiency but to be categorically opposed to it doesn't really make any sense imho.

speaking of, at this point I thought you'd be aware that you can indeed still catch covid while being vaccinated, but it drastically diminishes the symptoms you can have, and prevents people from having to be hospitalized. it's what the vaccine is supposed to do.
